The unfree press and their little sound bytes that pack a huge punch...
..."vigilante", "white supremacist"....
There's something going on with the popular media using these hashtag-able words.
For me personally at the moment I'm particularly triggered by the words "apartheid", "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide".... entirely different context of course: unrelated subject matter;
but the way the popular media uses these words to preface their populist position, and to inflame swathes of people to adopt reactionary positions. I am learning to select my media carefully.
