If you’ve been following the Fani saga, the Trump legal team was able to track the cell phone records of Fani Willis and Nathan Wade. On her way to CPAC, Megyn Kelly did a quick phoner to break the news and offer some legal analysis, which might interest some of you.
Another breaking scandal involves CBS News and its recently fired reporter, Catherine Herridge. She was reporting on the Hunter Biden story when she was abruptly fired and her files seized, Soviet-style. Here is Ted Cruz talking about it:
Trump is speaking at a Get Out the Vote rally in South Carolina:
You may or may not know that my other job is writing about the Oscars. If Oppenheimer wins the Producers Guild Award on Sunday and the Oscar for Best Picture it will have made history as the first film at the top of the box office to win Best Picture since Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I have a piece in the can, plus my Fourth Turning explainer coming up. Stay tuned.
This is following the same arc as basically every democrat “conspiracy theory” from the last 5 or 6 years..
Stage 1: it didn’t happen, just another conspiracy theory
Stage 2: it happened but it’s not what you think
Stage 3: it’s what you think but why does it matter (this is accompanied by the accusations of racism, transphobia, vaccine denial, maga lover, etc… etc…)
Stage 4: social media and left wing news sites memory hole everything associated with stage 1 and stage 2 (so many examples of this- my personal fave is get vaccinated and it stops the spread) and act like they had acknowledged the initial issue from stage 1 all along and anyone who calls them on it is accused of all the things outlined in stage 3.
If you look at the questioning of those two, the defense attorney's walked them both right into the trap. They asked every which way about phone records collaborating their stories about the timelines of the relationship. It's now apparent that the defense had those in their possession the whole time.
My only question is whether that judge has the yarbles to do the right thing.
