Keep in mind that many countries have traditions of establishing impromptu tribunals between families that have grievances. If a member of one family has wronged a member of another family some sort of payment is established for the perpetrating family to pay the harmed family to keep the peace. I had been an active member of a youth group 35 years ago and I went on to become a chapter advisor in my 20’s and a financial donor for about 20 years thereafter. They have “gender inclusive dorms” and DEI consultants. It brought me bitter joy to completely cut off funding and to remove this group from my will (which will ultimately cost them millions).

I am seeing lots of young people with big problems growing up due to lack of hormones, and the benefits of HRT are real. Teenagers are suicidal cos they have too few hormones to feel ok, and the benefits hormones have on mood is well known. Lots of young people have no balance, and do need help. If you dont help them, transgenders will.

Transgender activists want to consider their condition "normal", but christians dont, and specialists want to diagnose it, often as autism. I am in the states, yes. I do personally know a few (but only a few) actively transgender young people (I call them kids, but they're not really kids - they're college age up thru late 20s.)
I haven't seen an obvious hormone deficiency connection (although the boys are, in general, subjected to strong emasculating social pressure,) but I do see a lot of social capital (in their general world) for making some kind of sexuality/gender declaration, and absolutely crushing pressure to accept/promote the complete gender fluidity party-line without question.

When we’re talking about children I would argue definitionally children are unable to give informed consent to this kind of permanently mind/body/life altering interventions.
That is why they are not allowed to vote; they are not allowed to drink alcohol; they are not allowed to join the military; they are not allowed to marry without their parents consent. They are deemed unable to give consent to sex with a 30year old. (Although the exact cut off date for those things may vary, conceptually, it’s very clear that societies recognize that the ability to consent to significant action develops over time.
In that regard. Since children are unable to give consent, they cannot reasonably “choose” to have their breasts and genitals removed, or have their developing bodies flooded with hormones.
If a 12 year old cannot consent to letting a 30 year old partner use their genitals, how could they reasonably be expected to be capable of consenting to let a30 year old cut them off?
I’m a fairly hard core libertarian - even taking about ADULT choices. (I don’t want to pay for other people’s choices and I don’t expect anyone to pay for mine.)
But for children, it’s a completely different issue.
I think in NZ 16 year olds can make that decision, and girls are worse off cos they have breasts. I watched a documentary about a Christian girl who hoped her church would save her from her angst. She knew about hormones and transitioning by the time she was 12yo, but was determined to be normal. By the time she was 16, she was being suicidal, and eventually chose hormones out of desperation. And her transitioners were waiting for her, and sorted her out. I dont know how common her situation is, but getting testosterone is not the normal solution for depression. My opinion is that regular doctors should prescribe her HRT to help her reach womanhood without needing suicide or surgery. The irony to me is that she started to look a lot more feminine, and happier, once she was taking testosterone at the end of the documentary. But the transgender activists wouldnt give her hormones untill she "confessed"to being born in the wrong body. Why couldnt she just have had hormones to become a woman. What outcome do you think is best for her, other than suicide ?

If they cannot repay then they must be punished in the degree of damage they caused. In Fauci’s case, and all those who have perpetuated the mass fraud, the obvious like kind punishment would be slow agonizing death.
Keep in mind that many countries have traditions of establishing impromptu tribunals between families that have grievances. If a member of one family has wronged a member of another family some sort of payment is established for the perpetrating family to pay the harmed family to keep the peace. This is done to prevent the endless feuds that can develop and go completely out of control in older communities, blood feuds where if you kill one of mine I kill one of yours, a cycle that never ceases. Blood money helps to put an end to such feuds by making an entire family / clan responsible for the actions of any of their members. You can bet that they will have much better controls over their members in the future, or take out the irretrievably malevolent ones before they cost the family yet more blood money.
How that would be applied in the case of mass murders that we have now I couldn’t say. But claiming contrition and asking Jesus for forgiveness doesn’t measure up as sufficient payment for their crimes.

We need judgment in the form of an economic meltdown resulting in massive inflation and loss of the confidence of the nations of the world in the US dollar as the reserve currency. when I graduated nursing school autism rates were 1-2 per 10,000 - now they are 1 in 36-44 depending on which state and who is doing the calculation. .
during that same time frame - vaccines increased from 5 or so before the age of 5 to the current schedule: 26 in the first year, 52 before age 5 and 72 before age 18.
As a pediatric nurse I'm disgusted we allowed this to happen and still we stand by and allow those numbers to escalate.

If that's true, then they are likely quite sensitive to the effects of hormone balance, and flooding their systems with general overriding sex hormones is probably even more of a disaster.
I am seeing lots of young people with big problems growing up due to lack of hormones, and the benefits of HRT are real. Teenagers are suicidal cos they have too few hormones to feel ok, and the benefits hormones have on mood is well known. Lots of young people have no balance, and do need help. If you dont help them, transgenders will.

I dont know any transgender kids personally either, but NZ has just banned conversion therapy, so something must be going on. Transgender activists want to consider their condition "normal", but christians dont, and specialists want to diagnose it, often as autism. I have been looking into the claims, and they seem to be real. Are you in the USA ?
I am in the states, yes. I do personally know a few (but only a few) actively transgender young people (I call them kids, but they're not really kids - they're college age up thru late 20s.)
I haven't seen an obvious hormone deficiency connection (although the boys are, in general, subjected to strong emasculating social pressure,) but I do see a lot of social capital (in their general world) for making some kind of sexuality/gender declaration, and absolutely crushing pressure to accept/promote the complete gender fluidity party-line without question.

I know a friend whose little brother was a perfectly normal happy bubbly child and got a vaccine (MMR i think) when he was 3 and almost overnight he could no longer speak or even feed himself. I dont think anybody chose lobotomy unless they were mentally ill. But the victims of transgenderism are persuaded to choose that cos they are often desperate. And I think the hormones they are offered give them real relief. But there are some people, like Georgina Beyer, a NZ MP is now a woman, and seems well adjusted. But so many are so young and gullible, and have no idea who they are, till it is too late.
So if by choosing lobotomy what you really mean is able to give informed consent then you mean other people chose for lobotomy patients.
When we’re talking about children I would argue definitionally children are unable to give informed consent to this kind of permanently mind/body/life altering interventions.
That is why they are not allowed to vote; they are not allowed to drink alcohol; they are not allowed to join the military; they are not allowed to marry without their parents consent. They are deemed unable to give consent to sex with a 30year old. (Although the exact cut off date for those things may vary, conceptually, it’s very clear that societies recognize that the ability to consent to significant action develops over time.
In that regard. Since children are unable to give consent, they cannot reasonably “choose” to have their breasts and genitals removed, or have their developing bodies flooded with hormones.
If a 12 year old cannot consent to letting a 30 year old partner use their genitals, how could they reasonably be expected to be capable of consenting to let a30 year old cut them off?
I’m a fairly hard core libertarian - even taking about ADULT choices. (I don’t want to pay for other people’s choices and I don’t expect anyone to pay for mine.)
But for children, it’s a completely different issue.
I think in NZ 16 year olds can make that decision, and girls are worse off cos they have breasts. I watched a documentary about a Christian girl who hoped her church would save her from her angst. She knew about hormones and transitioning by the time she was 12yo, but was determined to be normal. By the time she was 16, she was being suicidal, and eventually chose hormones out of desperation. And her transitioners were waiting for her, and sorted her out. I dont know how common her situation is, but getting testosterone is not the normal solution for depression. My opinion is that regular doctors should prescribe her HRT to help her reach womanhood without needing suicide or surgery. The irony to me is that she started to look a lot more feminine, and happier, once she was taking testosterone at the end of the documentary. But the transgender activists wouldnt give her hormones untill she "confessed"to being born in the wrong body. Why couldnt she just have had hormones to become a woman. What outcome do you think is best for her, other than suicide ?

Great article and I can relate. I was raised by a single mom in San Francisco during the 60’s and 70’s ( myself and my two younger sisters). My mom took us to peace marches etc. we were raised Democrat.
My mom taught workshops at Esalen institute in Big Sur and took us there. She put us in EST training and she went to Arica.
I left the Democratic Party in the 80’s. My mlm voted for Obama twice. She told us to give him a chance.
She is now 88 years old and living in San Francisco. My whole family has become closet conservatives, including my mom.
I don’t recognize this party anymore.

Barack Obama was nothing more than George Bush the 3rd. He took two wars that George W. Bush lied us into and expanded it to 5 more. He bombed Pakistan, started the war in Syria, returned slavery to Libya, and bombed Yemen and Somalia.
Libya was bombed, supposedly, to "prevent a humanitarian crisis". It was left in civil war with operating slavery markets after Qaddafi (no angel himself), was murdered by having a bayonet shoved up his rectum.
Syria was bombed, not because "Assad used chemical weapons", which he likely did not, but because Israel wanted to solidify control on the Golan Heights, and a company named Genie Energy had secured a contract with Israel to mine the oil resources of the Golan - even though this was Syrian land. Genie Energy found oil and natural gas deposits there before, supposedly, Assad "gassed his own people". By claiming that Assad attacked people in the Golan, this gave the US an excuse to go to war with Syria.
Obama was every bit as much as a mass murderer as George W. Bush was. Have we found those weapons of mass destruction yet that Hussein supposedly was secretly making?
800,000 Iraqis are estimated to have been killed in that war. There's no figures I know of for the deaths in Syria, or Afghanistan, although I imagine they are high. It's claimed 250,000 Yemeni children have died in the war that Saudi Arabia is waging with US help and full support.
All of our "leaders" are just sociopaths, murderous criminals, the mafia - a mafia that has no respect for life, and complete contempt for the people that venerate them. The real mafia, that I've seen, isn't just complete criminals, they had SOME standards. The government doesn't. They will kill 800,000 Iraqis just as easily as they will kill you.

The binary view of the world--the us and them, we are good and they are unredeemably morally bad --is a huge red flag. This is the same dynamic as battered women syndrome scaled up to a large population.

Sasha, my thought is to remain careful we do not become the same as the cult you left, in this regard. There will always be bomb throwers, and nobody likes it. My upbringing was to protect the speech of all, no matter how repugnant. The idea that we protect the rights of others to speak, even if we vehemently disagree with it, as long as no mortal danger results. To me, this is what the 1st Amendment and our Grand Experiment stands for, and is the very strength of our Republic.
e.pierce, I for sure see your point. It’s human nature to push back. When confronted w/ on-line vitriol we have a choice. Either shout down that voice, ignore it or attempt to forgive the strong come-on and see if there’s any common ground. The latter is sometimes my go-to and occasionally learn something new, but most of the time, not. I think the difference is I don’t care if this is seen by that voice as weakness. I just hope (perhaps naively) that Substack can stand for a different, and better way.
