I was predictably, safely pro-choice for most of my teen years, despite attending Catholic schools.

In college, I got a part-time job at the admissions desk of an anthropology museum. On weekdays, it was often my assignment to let the visiting classes into the "Wonder of Life" exhibit - which had a huge 9-panel photo exhibit of human development from conception to birth.

Looking at those photos over a 4-hour shift, it became more and more difficult to rationalize that if the baby was born at 7 months, it was a "preemie," but if it wasn't wanted, it was a fetus. That if pre-term surgery was performed on the child, anesthesia was used - but if the fetus was aborted, it was simply chopped up with no anesthesia.

One day, it simply became impossible for me to rationalize it.

But I hid my new belief from friends for fear I would be ostracized.

One day, that, too became too heavy to wear.

As for the moderates you hope come back to vote with Democrats this fall - I'm not sure that the behavior they (we) are witnessing is going to accomplish that. Threatening to disrupt religious services, screaming outside Supreme Court justices homes?

How well did that behavior serve "the cause" in the summer of 2020? Yes, Biden was elected and the Democrats gained a split of the Senate - but Republicans made huge gains in state and local races across the country. And Hispanics began what is looking to be a generational migration to the Republicans - and it's the younger Hispanics doing the moving. The same is true among black voters - not as many, but the ones defecting are the younger ones.

Even pro-choice Catholic friends are appalled that people would violate the blessed Eucharistic hosts in a form of protest.

If anything, the self-indulgent protests are driving the independents back toward the Republicans.

Happy Mother's Day too.

I'm sorry, but even this issue will not get me to go back to voting for Democrats. They brought the exodus on themselves with their hate and dwelling in victimhood. Something tells me that more than one person was behind this leak and the Democrats are so desperate to not lose mid-terms, that they will do anything to win. Ethics mean nothing to them anymore.

And who says you can’t be on the right and still be pro-choice?

I'm a female physician & mother of 2. I was staunchly pro-choice most of my life & a Democrat. I volunteered at abortion clinics in med school.

After assisting in the horrific procedures of scraping out women's uteruses, ripping out fetuses, breaking fetuses into parts, I vomited & ran away. When I recall the scraping/bleeding of women's uteruses with metal tools, its worse than nails on a chalkboard, I shudder & feel it is my uterus being ripped with metal.

Stopped volunteering but was still pro-choice. Til I got married & had beautiful children of my own. I have Recurrent Miscarriages. It took me years to have my 1st child & years to have my 2nd. Lost many babies to miscarriages. Cried many tears. Being a mother is the best in the world, but I would not have known that before becoming a mother.

The "Supreme Court Leak" was engineered to get votes for Dems, because they are losing badly. They are losing b/c: destroying women/girls/feminism in support of Trans, BLM & AntiFa brainwashing our kids in schools, riots, high violent crime rates due to criminals not prosecuted for crimes/no bail, inflation, COVID restrictions, Afghanistan fail, Ukraine war fail, foreign policy fails in general, censorship, no free speech, extreme diversity quotas for jobs/admissions, etc. This was clearly done on purpose, to get people to vote for Dem, against their own interests.
