This is just a short note to you, my Substack readers, for joining this little community. There is no doubt it’s been a very weird year for me, a kind of awakening and a realignment that has caused me to rethink my own beliefs. This isn’t a popular Substack. Usually, people come here to figure out more about this crazy lady they encountered on Twitter. She’s saying what? She’s talking about what?
Had a driller back in the day tell me "closer to the mud, closer to truth". Took me years to figure out. Strip away the comforts, the status, social standing, assets, pretense, ideology and fairy tale, you see the facts clear, and where you stand; serene, resolved; however miserable the circumstance. Goodcorgi puts his/her finger on it: so many of us getting closer to the mud. Those who ask "WHY WHY WHY" will find a sure path through the tumult: others'll walk blindly off the cliff. Thankful for You, Ms. Stone. God Bless.
Happy Thanksgiving Sasha! Personally I'm starting to see signs of hope for the first time in years. More and more people seem to be waking up to what we have been seeing, warning and shouting about. I may be fooling myself but the recent elections give me hope that people are beginning to wake up and say, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."
