Sasha you have become one of my favorite authors. Your writings the past year gave me hope, saved my sanity and enabled me not to feel so alone. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with all of us. And for turning me onto the whole “Fourth Turning” concept…boy that changed my perspectives on so much and allowed me to see the vibe shift as something much bigger.
Hey, Trump has done his part (with a little help from us). But now, NOW he needs a LOT of help from us. I've heard from two opposite sources this week that weak-kneed Republicans BEND to the PEOPLE when they HEAR from the PEOPLE. Negatives turn to positives. The fear of being PRIMARIED is real to Establishments and RINOS. They KNOW you are watching when they HEAR FROM YOU. Stay focused and KEEP UP THE PRESSURE. We must overcome thin numbers in House and Senate.
WE THE PEOPLE are the Senate Majority Leader. WE THE PEOPLE are the true Speaker of the House. Get LOUD, stay LOUD, and DONT LET UP.
Amen. It's atrocious that Republicans are thinking of passing the CR (continued resolution) that has mask and vaccine mandates, a blocking of any indictments/investigation into the phony Democrat Jan. 6 hearings, money to rebuild the bridge in the northeast that probably a terrorists knocked down, etc.
When Trump got Chip Roy, his main (in-party) enemy at this point, primaried in some recent cycle, Roy won with 83% of the vote. Maybe a higher degree of focus would create a different result in 2026. But my guess is that Roy is not shaking in his boots.
Whilst Chip Roy may still be in place, the elections resulted in the POTUS being Trump.
The Senate is GOP.
The House is GOP, albeit by a slim margin.
The popular vote went to Trump.
Those who voted for Chip Roy are democratically entitled to do so.
However it does not change the above election outcome and Chip Roy, albeit democratically elected by the constituency he stood for, leans against the overall direction of the Republican vote.
The Republican Senators who will only face the voter in 2026 will of course have to take similar heed of how they go about their next two years.
There are still Never Trumpers in place, in the Senate and House, and there are still Never Trumpers voters, maybe one in five at a stretch.
Within the rules of American democracy that is democratically valid.
Whether or not Chip Roy remains in place however depends purely on the will of the American people in the constituencies that will vote either for or against him.
Thank you so very much Sasha. Your video was so touching. I went through a slew of emotions while watching it. I don't think the video was too long. It was just the right amount of time. I know I will go back and watch it many times. It's a wonderful Christmas gift to me. As always, I appreciate your truth, wisdom and honesty. I pray you have a warm and wonderful holiday season. I love you dearly and I wish you were here in front of me so we could look at one another and say, "Trump won!" Then we'd give each other a big hug and repeat, "Trump won!" 🇺🇸
God bless your tribute, Ms. Sasha, the man himself, and citizens -- powerful and ordinary -- who stood by President Trump these many years. It is something those who fought for and alongside him will long remember.
I have only read the transcript so far, but this is really great! There will be movies made about this and given you penchant for cinema and story telling, I hope you get involved. There is a vacuum that needs to be filled and it is easier to make "movies" than ever before. Plus, I couldn't imagine a better narrator.
Thank you, thank you Sasha. That was a brilliant summary of Trump's and our journey. The events of the past few years would be impossible to believe if we did not actually witness them ourselves. You can now sense that even among many of his critics in the press, a grudging admiration for the man who took everything they could throw at him and would not back down. People can't help but respect that and you see it in his favorability ratings which are now at all time highs.
Sharing this journey with you has been a pleasure.
This Substack piece is absolutely amazing, Sasha. You and your team deserve the Pulitzer for this composition.
Thank you for your creative and insightful work throughout the years …. I hope you feel deserving and proud of your accomplishments. It takes courage, self awareness, dedication and commitment to earn this praise.
Great job Sasha! It felt great reliving the journey we all went on this past year. And thank you for your openness and vulnerability on the journey you've been on these last 4 or so years, truly inspiring! I so look forward to your posts.
So do you think that Trump is serious about doing a deal for Canada? Would Canadians under Troodo be serious about playing ball? They own it, after all. At this point, if they are game, they would be likely to throw Troodo out and do their own negotiating.
Can you imagine...potentially uniting British North America and the expanded 13 colonies? If there is any truth to this, and the Canadians decide they wish to negotiate, it would be his biggest deal yet.
Canada is the most rich country, after Russia, with vast natural resources . Of course it would be extremely wonderful for Canada to be the 51st state. The UK will be an Islamic Caliphate within 5 years. Where will English speaking people who love freedom go to? Greater United States of North America.
Canada is indescribably rich in natural resources. The British Monarchy made much of their wealth off of that. Still do. And we are terribly well-placed as a defence bulwark in North America. But we are under-stated...we don't boast. Therefore Americans generally don't see us, though we are the second-largest country in the world. Which has been just as well for us.
Trouble is, CCP China has noticed Canada. So do you want Communists on your northern doorstep? Troodo seems to be their agent.
Yep. I understand. So, let’s go back in time a little. The german Astor family exhausted the beaver pelts first in Canada. Then they move south to the US Rocky Mountains. At the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers is Fort Union, built about 1830. My wife and I visited there. Hardcore mountain men brought beaver pelts to sell. The painter John Audubon made paintings there. George Caitlin made paintings of American Indian folks there after traveling. The native Americans made no discrimination between either side of the 39th parallel.
Indeed, it was the British/French/American hunters and trappers who first explored the North American continent when it was opened to Europeans. As well as the British military.
No. Not gonna happen. Trump is the absolute master of trolling and he trolls everyone. He keeps people off balance which is devastatingly effective as a negotiation tactic. The man is brilliant.
With DJT, it is kind of hard to say. Love your phrase "British North American and the expanded 13 colonies." Not sure we want to digest alll of the ill-kindred in Toronto though. I think it is an interesting proposition. There IS a real kinship between long time Canadians and Americans, at least from this Yank's perspective. :-)
BTW: Glad to see Freeland bail and the NDP now willing to disolve Parliament, only after Singh is vested (for his pension). That figures. Ezra Levant is of the opinion that if Trudeau hangs on, he will try to campaign against Trump and proposed tarrifs, rather than Poilievre. Do you think that is accurate?
P.S. Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day to you and yours.
The ill-will in Toronto might have to be walled off. Or deported. Which is what Trump would be very good for. Many Canadians do not think of Toronto as their city any longer. It has fallen to invading forces.
After Monday, things in Canadian govt. have changed a bit. Freeland seems to be ready to run for Party leadership herself. I don't know which one is worse -- Chrystia or Justin. Birds of a feather, now eating one another.
Singh is musculoskeletally-deficient. In a big way. What he really wants is to be rich, to be Prime Minister, and to have that pension. But not to work or display leadership. "Canada? What Canada? Never heard of it." We have a disaster crew right now between the Liberals and the NDP.
Ezra has a new book out on Troodo. I must try to read it over the holidays.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Paul. I know you don't do Boxing Day, but the Americans have Black Friday (during which they fill those boxes). God bless us, one and all.
Are you nuts? Canada would make Americans vastly more wealthy and safe. Canada should be in our nation. They have unique capabilities in the Arctic Sea with the Northwest Passage between Iceland and, north to the Arctic Sea, and then around and down the Bering Sea into the Pacific Ocean. That alone is an extremely wonderful strategic opportunity for a unified North American nation.
The state of Canada should move its capital city to Calgary, where normal common sense people live. The opposition should be forced to ride the bulls at the Calgary Stampede before they are allowed to pleed their case. Good luck.
Wonderful. I have never hear this song before! Jeez, it's been a dozen years since I listened to The Mary Ellen Carter or Barrett's Privateers! Where DOES the time go?
Woah. Well done! I concur. While Gordon Lightfoot was more popular in America, I think, and produced some great songs, too, people I respect who know Canadian Folk music, said that Rogers was the man. Drat. Now I am going to have to listen to "Between the Breaks... Live" before I go to bed.
Thank you for the folk song. It was wonderful. The Canadian government is collapsing and bending its knee to the Germans of the World Economic Forum. Their plan for normal Canadians is MAID, medical assistance in dying where your government kills you to reduce spending. Get it now? They want you dead and gone. And replaced by illegal aliens from the third world. American people love you Canadian folk and will not intentionally kill you . Why not join with people who love you. The UK is a walking corpse now. It will be an Islamic Caliphate within 10 years. Allahu Ackbar baby.
Oh, I always got it, Tom. I am ten paces ahead. I know full well what is going on.
You're right about the great replacement. Trojan Horse invasions across the West.
Thank you for your support of us. There are only about 20-25 million Canadians who do not see this country as Hotel Canada and a money-laundromat....who have a vested interest in it. Our families have been here for between 250 and 400 years. We built the culture and the infrastructure and sent men to the world wars.
Then a Communist dynasty gained power and is attempting to destroy us. They are sponsoring the largest suicide cluster in the world -- MAID. It is worse than ghastly. We are being forced to look at our options. Not that the Americans would offer a bad option -- not at all (we admire you)-- but we have to think about this carefully.
My mother’s family, the Hibbards came to the Massachusetts Bay Colony with John Winthrop in 1635 from the Salisbury Plain in England. I have the exact genealogy records. They went to Maine, then Georgia in 1789, to form the town of Saint Mary’s, Georgia as a buffer between the newly formed United States of America, to defend against Spain. Aka, Florida, in Saint Augustine. My ancestor was the Harbormaster, Elihu Hibbard who helped found the town.
Thank you! I haven't heard this great song since I quit listening to WFMT's Midnight Special program. It just became insufferably woke. Another timeless number from their old days was "What Was I Thinking??" by Christine Lavin. It's from a time before the left entirely lost their sense of humor.
Another fan of "Strong and Free" Alberta, I see. Right on! Alberta's Premier Danielle Smith seems to have her head on straight. Of couse, many of us in the States are big fans of "Wild Rose Country."
The Freedom Movement in Canada is arising from Alberta. They refused to sell their souls to the Troodos, father and stepson, though the Troodos tried to destroy that province.
Did Obama's mother, a teenage American girl, travel to Kenya at that time? I thought not. That supposed marriage was just one of convenience, on paper. She lived a fairly short drive to Vancouver, from Washington State. The closest home for unwed mothers was on the Canadian side.
No, Obama’s supposed father live in America, not Kenya. I don’t know. Obama’s history is suppressed. Other folks say his father was Frank Marshall Davis, a communist from Hawaii
Frankly, it doesn't matter to me where he was born. His mother was a US citizen, so he was as well. What matters to me is the time he spent in Indonesia, and how he came to be at Columbia. My suspicion is he came in as a foreign student, which would explain why his Columbia records have been sealed. His upbringing in a foreign country should have been enough to disqualify him.
Most of the facts about Obama should have been enough to keep him from the Presidency. There was a list. He was very much the wrong person for that position, if you read into his background using any valid sources.
Absolutely right. After they (the globalist elites who own the dem-comm party) have their fingers pried off the levers of power--they will do ANYTHING to get their hands back on them. Nothing is off-the-table. I truly fear for what may come our way these next weeks--and the months that follow. And why an article about courage is so timely...
You're right, but they're going to come at us with nothing, and no one. Even their strongest asset, their rank & file soldiers who call themselves the media, is evaporating before our very eyes.....and they're too foolish to see it.

Wow, this will be a forever article, the reference narrative of this decade long war against Trump The Hero ... Brilliant!
Yes, good read.

I LOVE this. Remarkable. Sasha, this is so insightful and fun and engaging. Your encyclopedic knowledge of film history is your secret weapon.
It’s not a story until someone tells it. Well done. Two bourbons in, so I’ll quit.
Yes indeed, good assessment of her talents!
Great job Sasha! It felt great reliving the journey we all went on this past year. And thank you for your openness and vulnerability on the journey you've been on these last 4 or so years, truly inspiring! I so look forward to your posts.

Why should a foreign person run Canada ? That is stupidity.
The Red Green show comedians would be a better choice. At least they love your people. Get all the Muslims out before they devour you with sharia law.

This is our heritage. The Northwest Passage.
Wonderful. I have never hear this song before! Jeez, it's been a dozen years since I listened to The Mary Ellen Carter or Barrett's Privateers! Where DOES the time go?
Stan Roger's family and mine grew up as United Empire Loyalists in the same tiny Maritime Canadian town.
Though he is gone now, I never tire of hearing Stan.

Could start as a Territory as PR?
Obama the lying Psychopath against Trump the eventual Hero. How wrong that room got it.
Obama who was probably born in a home for unwed mothers in Vancouver, Canada. His whole bio has been a scam. So has he.
Nope. Obama , according to his aunt, was born in Kenya. His father, a committed Muslim communist, hated the British and also Americans.
I have read about Frank Marshall Davis, Obama's supposed "mentor" as a boy. It would not surprise me if Davis was his biological father.
Frankly, it doesn't matter to me where he was born. His mother was a US citizen, so he was as well. What matters to me is the time he spent in Indonesia, and how he came to be at Columbia. I think the point of this was to show how much Obama lies, for his own benefit.
Most of the facts about Obama should have been enough to keep him from the Presidency. There was a list. He was very much the wrong person for that position, if you read into his background using any valid sources.
Wow, the right continues believing conspiracy theories (Obama not born in the US) even when the originator admits it was a lie!

“The Price of Victory is Eternal Vigilance”
We may have won the election, but not the war.
The enemy may appear to be in its death throes, but we cannot let down our guard for even a minute..
We must remain alert and awake, and fight, fight, fight against the schemes and devices of the enemy who want this nation to fail.
