My primary concern hasn't changed since before Donald Trump's involvement in government . There seems no possibility of coexistence with the left. How can you cry the death of democracy when you think so because you may well find yourself in an honest minority? How can you claim Republicans don't want people to vote, while you know they just want an election to be fair? How can you decry wealth while you yourselves are the wealthy? Liberals are liberals because they can afford to be, the conduit for globalists and corporatocracy, the disruptors in the names of Klaus Schwab and George Soros. They aren't even patriotic Americans, decrying "nationalism" because they hate this country. So somebody tell me, if you see it differently. How can one coexist with that? There is no possible way ever they will convert the right to their way of thinking, because every single last thing they say they believe, is an outright bald-faced cheap idiotic lie.

Liberals are THE biggest hypocrites in the world

Expand full comment

No, not liberals - the establishment.

Do you think there would be an issue if, say, Mitt Romney were president from 2016 to 2020? How about if it was Jeb Bush?

The problem with Trump is that he refused to start a new war, and worse than that, he tried to end Syria and Afghanistan and he would not escalate with Russia. Our government's main export has been war since the Neocons took over our foreign policy 20 years ago.

Face it, our presidents are generally puppets. The people pulling the strings do not care if the puppet is a "republican" or a "democrat", as long as they carry out orders without question. The main job of a president is to explain in multiple speeches what they were ordered to do. George W. Bush explained away the Iraq War as "national interest", if Al Gore were president in 2000-2004, the war still would have happened, but it would have been "a humanitarian effort" because Saddam Hussein is a bad man and he gassed his own people, clutch my pearls..

If you haven't noticed, that's the simple pattern. The US blew up Libya "to prevent a humanitarian crisis" and left it with slavery markets and in civil war under Obama. Syria was blown up because "Assad is gassing his own people". Afghanistan was "to get binLaden", and Iraq was "to stop Hussein from making weapons of mass destruction".

Yemen and Somalia, they didn't even bother to make an excuse for, because our media doesn't mention we're bombing these nations. Television tells the public what to be outraged about.

Russia was blowing up Chechnya for years. If Ukraine had the same television "news" coverage on that, nobody would care that Ukraine is at war.

When our, criminal, establishment wants you to care, and allow the networks to report on it, and to propagandize the public, this is because they want support, for another, disastrous, pointless war. This mission of war is just to create war for the US - it makes a lot of money for the military industrial complex, and inflates the profits of Offense Contractors, which is an easy way to make money buying options. They kill 100's of thousands, even millions, just to make money, by funneling US tax money into companies that just built products to murder people - and that's all war is.

The US is what we were told the 3rd Reich was. This is the real deal. Endless war, for profit. Kind of like 1984, where the entire world was continual conflict, with no possibility of resolution.

And, they automatically assume we are all misinformed, so you can't tell them anything. They assume, if they haven't heard it on NPR, it can't be true.

Expand full comment

I would like to point out that at one point, NPR was the most reliable and honest news source in the United States, not that it's saying very much. They have had big donors from the Offense Industry for at least 35 years, so they have mainly steered clear from opposing foreign policy during that time.

NPR was the first, in my knowledge, to point out that partial birth abortion was NOT generally used to save the life of the mother, but to end an unwanted pregnancy - for example. They were the first to point out that the so-called "Nayirah Testimony" was false, that she was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti Ambassador, and she was coached on how to lie convincingly by Hill+Knowlton - of course they did this AFTER the Iraq War was over, when it no longer mattered.

Of course, they are just garbage now. I'd put NPR in the same garbage bin as Fox News, CNN, the Atlantic, or NY Times. It's all just complete nonsense and propaganda.

Expand full comment

You're right. I shouldn't have singled out NPR.

Expand full comment

The reality is our media is complete garbage. I don't mean to defend NPR, but it was one of the last "news" stations standing.

Today, it's just purely propaganda.

Who in our media has the fucking honesty to say that the US overthrew Ukraine in 2014, this led to a civil war in Ukraine, and that Russia finally did direct intervention after the US funded the Western side of the war, of their PUPPETS, for years?

Because that's what ACTUALLY happened. You know how rare I am to know this? I'm like 1 out of 100. If EVERYBODY knew this, the Ukrainian military wouldn't be being slaughtered and the scumbags that caused this humanitarian disaster like Victoria Nuland would AT LEAST be out of government, if not in prison, if not executed.

Nobody in our "news" media will report this. They protect mass murderers and sociopathic criminals. At one point, I thought they were just cowards, but no, they are collaborators.

I work in global logistics. So let’s look at this. Corporations have moved a ton of factories to China. Is China concerned about emissions? So now all of those products made in China have to get on a plane (high-value) goods or a boat. Now when they get to the US or Europe. They have be put on a truck or rail (then trucked)...so if they really were concerned that CO2 was a problem, they’d be moving factories back to Europe/US so they’d be under the money laundering Paris accords. Clinton fought for China to be a most favored nation under false pretenses...and surprise, our factories moved there so slave labor could make our products. The elites continue to fly to G20 meetings, they 6th mansion, Apple says it’s “net zero” while flying their products to the world from China. Apple says this because the buy “carbon credits” which means that they emit carbon but just pay to get them off the hook. I could go own. This is 100% about control, power and money. There is no climate crisis except for the fake one that they’ve been predicting for 30+ years.

If they truly thought this was an issue they would penalize all these corporations for making their products in China (what is their climate change drive there? More coal power plants and high emissions factories). Western countries are very clean. One would think that they would be creating utopia's in all the deep blue States. That they would raze all the single family homes in NJ, NY, CA, OR, WA, CT, MA, etc and build blocks of soviet style apartment blocks where they can all live together equally and harmoniously and have nightly sing alongs of party songs. But for some reason they don't do that. I am stumped as to what they are doing???

All this equity talk is a ruse for power and the media is in on it. That is the only explanation. Because the left has the power and the means to do what is needed in the States they have complete control over. Of course most on the left would never actually want "equity". They just want to appear to act like they want it. The useful idiots don't realize it is achievable today and still buy the nonsense, blaming the party that has no power in these places. The funny part is that the Government doesn't even have to use eminent domain to take the property. The lefties who vote D can donate it to further the cause with the promise of an apartment in the block. Equity for all is in hand. All one has to do is open that hand.

Yet another brilliant delivery , this Nicole along with so many referred to in your article are intellectual frauds or plain frauds if not intellectual, like Sam Harris who is prepared to burn down democracy to save democracy.

The truth is that many who "believe" in "democracy" do not understand democracy, even if their offices are littered with useless paper degrees from elite universities hanging on their walls.

Democracy is not whatever values one thinks should be part of democracy, it is whatever values the will of the people in free and fair elections run in accordance with the constitution has delivered.

Governance should be an impartial, constitutional execution of that democratic mandate ...

The rest of what democracy should be is just preferred narrative, preferred fantasy ...

That however is the inconvenience of democracy to the Establishment Elite and its foot soldiers.

Whatever portions I'm forced to watch or catch in passing always leave me with two thoughts - "Who hurt you, Nicolle?" and "what a phony, vile, angry vicious sad human". Think about it - how would it ever be possible that someone who worked in the Bush Admin and for the campaign of John McCain would even support 100% anything and everything the most extreme liberals say, and would exhibit such vile hatred, racism and authoritarian ideas? It's all about the money, and once Trump appeared on his way to victory in 2016, all liberal media turned into money-grubbing phonies. Nicolle Wallace is the worst of those. It's ridiculous to mention democracy and the US Constitution together. There is no mention of democracy in the Constitution. Democracy is not the form of government laid out in the Constitution. Democracy is a sham that has no place in a free society governed by our Constitution. The "will of the people" is the easiest thing in the world to fabricate. Devotees of democracy commenting online obviously get every single point they present from TV news broadcasts, just like the author of this piece who obviously watches too much TV.

Clearly, as those representaives now sell and trade off our representation, there is a huge sham going on therein. But I believe the government as-established was indeed

Another great podcast, Sasha!'

It's amazing how brainwashed people can become by the mainstream media! A while back I was talking to my brother, who asked me what politicians I like. I mentioned Marjorie Taylor Greene, (who strikes me as a level-headed small business person who really cares about the country).

My brother made a face and said "she's so racist!". I asked him for an example of something racist MTG had said. He told me he couldn't remember anything specific at the moment, but he had heard her say a lot of racist things, he was sure. Since I listen to a lot of conservative media, I'm certain I've heard a lot more MTG interviews than my brother has. And, I really can't remember her ever saying anything racist, or for that matter even making any statements whatsoever related to race. (She usally talks politics, of course.) But my sixty-year old, intelligent, successful middle-class brother in SoCal is absolutely certain he's heard MTG say "a lot of racist things".

God help us! The ancient Brits used to pray "God protect us from the fury of the Vikings." Maybe we should say "God protect us from the avarice of the MSM".

Ken, whenever you ask a liberal for an example of something a republican said or did, they say what your brother said, I can’t think of one right now but I know they said/did it because the media told me.

I disagree with your comment about the media being brainwashed. Brainwashed implies they are being tricked. While there might be a few sheep in their herd who are just following along, I think the vast majority of the media are doing it on purpose. They are ideologues, true radical left believers that happily promote the woke/radical left/hate America narrative.

My opinion on why: this way of looking at the world is taught in colleges. My kids saw it, hundreds of articles about the ratio of liberal to conservative professors, DEI becoming embedded in schools. It is literally indoctrination. Now it’s happening in K-12 with schools refusing to involve parents in what’s happening with their kids. That’s why the teachers union and school administrations have reacted so aggressively against parents wanting to know what’s going on. You think the FBI targeting parents at school board meetings was a mistake? It’s a part of their plan.

And what do republicans do...not much of anything. That’s why Trump is hated, because he fights as dirty as the liberals do and that is a direct threat to their power.

Spot on, Lefty, a large percentage of the Leftist ideological BS we are dealing with today (I'm going to guestimate 90 percent or more) trickled down from academia, really beginning the 70s, and becoming more intense and more pervasive with with each successive decade. Now we have a couple of generations of the college educated (read: indoctrinated) "elite" who believes all or most of that BS implicitly, because they literally have no other framework of thought in their heads. Part of what motivates me and I think many others is predisposition to protect those in need from being physically, mentally and economically bullied. It seems to me the Left has cornered the market on bullying. And certainly a virtue of all the world’s major religions is the care for the less fortunate; and anyone being bullied is less fortunate. The form of this bullying is systemic and often subtle:overwhelming casting of whites, particularly straight males, in movies, tv, commercials as bad, incompetent or both.; hiring or promoting a straight white male only as a last resort. The list goes on but it’s bullying and discrimination based on race, sex and sexual orientation. Further, the Left mocks poor whites relentlessly in a way they would never do to any other group. Poor whites are the only safe butt of every joke the Left is allowed to tell. What is amazing is that so many of the Left recently came from a similar experience and now have so quickly forgotten the hurt and consequences. Finally, I think most people vote their pocketbooks and for the Left that means salaries for city/state/federal government employees, contractors and teachers and their dependents. It means those on welfare, food stamps, EBT, CHIP, school loans and warfare industry. That’s a lot of people and shows that the national Socialism of America is already well established. And as you know, that usually doesn’t end until they run out of other people’s money. "The Chicago Way" writ large, Federal level. How does a card carrying communist become head of the CIA? How does "don't ask, don't tell" morph into transgenders as the face of our military? How do our borders become wide open, with illegals welcomed with open arms? How do our election laws change dramatically from Election Day to election month, with votes mailed to every citizen? Add in the power to harvest these ballots and elections have been rendered fully corrupt. The Republicans are no match for the Democrats where ballot stuffing is concerned. What part of "Chicago Way" didn't you understand when I mentioned it?

This is all by design.

Wallace's performance is coopted theater. No different than GMA's Stephanopoulos. Provide a pay grade that allows them to dance at the elite level and they will mouth any propaganda.

Trump had classified documents. Joe had classified documents. One gets charged the other doesn't.

You can thank Obama, we all now live in Chicago.

Hi from Australia where we don’t get the pleasure of seeing/ hearing Nicole Wallace and her type. We have our own.

Don’t know what makes them think they matter but they do. Heaven help us.

Without Trump their lives would be so empty.

Hello from a fellow Aussie Amr.

Not sure if you know about ADH.TV an Australian Conservative news channel with great presenters from Alan Jones to Alexandra Marshall to Lyle Shelton and a plethora of others.

Absolutely and listen to their podcasts every morning. Alexandra a gem to read, hear.

Not sure how I stumbled onto Sacha but she is so good.

You are absolutely right, Amr - without Trump, CNN and MSNBC would be back to only 10 hours a day of their opinion shows/programming, 13 hours a day of their travel, food, crime drama etc. shows and one hour of real, actual news. I know that most of us who work have to accept that we do some thing that run counter to our moral compasses in order to keep our jobs and pay the bills. But how anyone could eagerly work in a job where the primary mission is to spew vile lies and stoke hatred among your fellow citizens?? With a few more like the deplorable Ms. Wallace, "media personality" could soon rival attorneys and used-car salespeople as the least admired professions. And while Ms. Wallace is the most hateful and least intelligent of the MSNBC stable, it's remarkable how "on script" they ALL are. Nobody will ever be able to convince me that they don't all receive a "here's what our programs will look like and here's what you will say" email every morning.

Dehumanization, censorship, state control of information, legal persecution, political prisoners, this is what is happening RIGHT NOW in America. Katie Couric, after the last election, made a comment about putting Trump supporters in camps. Nicole Wallace comments on "the cesspool of MAGA" That she was aligned with Steve Schmidt says volumes. A surprising number of notable Jewish people also liken Trump to Hitler and have the same level of hatred you can assume they would have had for Hitler and the Nazis back in the day.

The problem is that they have no justification and no rational reason to make the comparison. Yet the hysterical zeal of their hatred is perhaps the most dangerous force in America when it comes to instigating some coming civil war.

I won't pick up a gun because I disagree with them politically - no matter how bizarre I feel their stances are. I will immediately pick up a gun if I feel they are coming for my life. And they are seemingly advocating that now.

The tactics of dehumanization, political prisons, injecting fear into the citizenry, we've seen this movie before. The difference is when the moment arrives something must be done, something will be done and Barbara Streisand and her looney tunes pals may find themselves getting dragged out into the streets. The American equivalent of Germany's Jews are going to be able to defend themselves. And what the hysterical Trump hater - who is actually the true modern day Nazi - needs fear is that once there is a rational realization of the harm these haters intend to do to the majority, it will be met far more aggressively than they were ever prepared for.

Trump psychosis is real. I’m not being facetious. The morbid terror of Donald Trump demonstrated by someone of influence such as Nicolle Wallace should not be underestimated. Nicolle, like so many like her, lives in an isolated hive mind of pathological group think and doesn’t seem to be able to escape it. Or perhaps just don’t want to. They can’t do with Trump but neither can they do without him. It gives meaning to their existence to perpetuate the epic fight against the monster they’ve created in their mind that they actually believe will destroy the country and perhaps the world without their intervention. With the backing of the political establishment one can only guess to what lengths they’ll go in desperation to stop Trump from re-ascending to the Oval Office. Whatever one thinks of Donald Trump, he must be admired for his courage, the one virtue that is so desperately needed but so sorely lacking at every level of our political class.

"How convenient for the Obama coalition, and the establishment government now under attack by two populist movements, Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party to slander them with charges of racism."

Interesting comparison. In hindsight, I do see some alignment in the Occupy movement and not as much the Tea Party as the MAGA movement. (I see the Tea Party as political, while MAGA is more individualistic. Maybe I'm wrong).

But let's not forget that Occupy was also a precursor to the BLM/Antifa street riot model. It was well funded by extremely wealthy players. Just as Antifa had military gear and pallets of bricks delivered to them (not a cheap thing), Occupy had money to pay for all their gear and propaganda. They had lots of money - you don't print a broadsheet paper ("The Occupied Wall Street Journal") for cheap. Occupy was an agitator movement driven from the top down by elites.

MAGA, on the other hand, is almost entirely bottom-up, inspired by Trump but in no way funded by him. It's more that Trump tapped into the frustrations that ordinary Americans feel about the elites. People have responded organically to this in a way they never would with Occupy. Because Occupy, like BLM/Antifa, was negative energy - the system sucks, America sucks, let's protest and poop in the street. Trump crowds don't do that and don't much appreciate those who do.

MAGA is first and foremost a positive movement, sparked by a man that loves the country, believes in its promise, and thinks its people are wonderful. Yes, we also agree the "1%" are against us, but we don't need to tear the system down to fix that. We just need to be left alone and allowed to prosper.

Occupy New Haven was very much a bottom-up democratic organization primarily funded by blue collar people and middle-class housewives. We literally passed the hat (mine) to pay for the porti-pottys and the dumpster. Never seen anything like it. Suburban housewives would show up with huge trays of lasagna and cases of bottled water. Carpenters and electricians would help maintain the semi-permanent structures. It was truly all for one and one for all. The only people who did not really get along were the upper middle class white collage kids who were taking a semester off to build their ivory tower resumes. The future woke.

Thank you - a brilliant analysis - you sum up MSNBC perfectly - they are the embodiment of Orwells Ministry of Hate. The Trump clips were amazing I hope he wins 2024. Love from across the pond to all my American compadres in this fight!

If it was not Trump they hated, it would be anyone who disagrees with their world view. They are haters and hate they will, because that is what they do and are quite comfortable with it. It is OK to hate in their world, and their normal.

We should still pray for them and hope they see that you can disagree without being disagreeable. Hate is usually followed closely by violence. Both hatred and violence should be avoided at all costs. When this digresses to violence nobody will be spared. Remember the French Revolution, everyone eventually became the enemy.

Well said, Bert. So true--we cannot overcome their hate with more hate, only with a sort of tough love that recognizes what the modern Left is is but refuses to mirror their toxic bile. We must stay true to our principles, and not give in to our fear and anger.
