Question and answer honestly -- do you have a Netflix subscription? If you do, you are supporting the Democrats. Reed Hastings who is the head of Netflix is one of the largest donors to the Democratic Party.

I see a lot of people say they don't go to movies anymore and since Covid attendance is down a lot, but as long as people have subs to Netflix, Apple, Disney/Hulu, etc. you are unfortunately supporting the wrong side.

And I'm not telling people to cancel their subs. We need access to entertainment. I'm just saying that unfortunately, we all end up supporting and enriching Democrats because we want to watch Stranger Things or The Mandalorian.

But yes, it's good that people are waking up to how much people like Clooney, Reiner, Kimmel, Stephen King etc. are all these loudmouths who want to rule us with their donations while sitting at the cool table patting each other on the ass.

And the business is hurting. I know more folks looking to pivot from lack of work than I do working now. They're destroying their industry like the Democratic Party is destroying our country. It's truly sick to behold.

Honest answer: yes I do have Netflix. I refused to pay their price increases tho so we don’t use it as much as we used to with only one device that can play it at any time. LOL. So we found ourselves finding other avenues. And I had NO idea they supported the Democratic Party that much. So … now that I know? Yes you can better believe I will be canceling. No big deal, we don’t need it. Less time on the tube is more time to get some fresh air and get back to what really matters in life.

This year we also stopped buying ALL Coke and Pepsi products too. I don’t miss any of it. I also recently got rid of all our Amazon electronics too. Apple is the only thing I haven’t been able to replace because the alternatives are Microsoft/Google. No way will I ever give either of them my business again. You only get one chance with me and you can never win me back after you violate my faith in you. Apple seems the least of all the evils so far. And if I can’t avoid any of my pennies going to one of these corrupt and disconnected elitists then I’d rather it go to Apple. They have given me the least headaches. But … we DID cancel Apple TV last year when every program was pushing ideology we just don’t care for. So no entertainment from them.

I know we need entertainment, and I’ll find another way to get it without paying these A*holes. I found a way to kick the cable company to the curb long before anyone else started to, and it was easy and didn’t hurt us. There’s always a way to get free entertainment too. Or at least only pay for those worthy of our support. There are nonpolitical shows that don’t take sides and don’t push wokeness on us and they just tell a good story without trying to represent everybody. There are also inspiring and wholesome shows out there that are written well. They do exist and some offer access through their own production sites, God bless em. Short of that I got a household of dozens and dozens of fully stocked bookshelves with so many great books written before they started to put their woke junk in every character. And tons of DVDs too. Quite frankly if the apocalypse happened tomorrow and we lost access to ALL internet, our family can be plenty entertained with what we have on hand for the rest of our lives. LOL Even our DVDs are all pre-woke nonsense.

The only way Hollywood will shut up and stay out of our politics is if they discover they can’t make a living off of us anymore because of their extremist views and being out of touch with those that supported them.

You don't need to cancel your Netflix. I think the point I wanted to make was it is almost unavoidable to enrich the people who control the dollars that party lives and breathes on. Unless Elon opens a movie studio and starts producing content, we're going to get a lot more of the stuff we all can't stand with ideology shoved into it. It's social engineering. The folks who work out here who try to exclude that kind of stuff then get notes from execs to include it. I know Ben Shapiro has started some kind of a studio from Sasha's posts, but it hasn't scaled big enough yet.

Elon is really the one who can flip this and get Hollywood back to the good old days when stories made people dream instead of cringe. He just has to decide to do it. So much on that guy's plate already.

Well I certainly can avoid seeing more and more of the context that I don’t want. It’s a choice. It’s possible to live without. I’ve been doing that the past few years and seeing less and less. My husband and I are currently watching a show from the early 90s that actually is quite good. We don’t have much crap shoved in our faces. Just the beginnings because it started back then, but it’s not overly in our faces. Actually some of the characters portrayed are more private and reasonable like they are in real life. I can handle that. There’s lots to entertain us. Even old movies and shows still are very entertaining.

Where are the other Elons in this world so he doesn’t have to do it ALL?? They need to wake up.
