The incredible thing is that both these men were reporting in the same decade, and the Times printed their tripe. They even got a Pulitzer Prize for Duranty's crap.

An aerial bomb would have left a crater in the ground, the shock wave from an Israeli bomb would have leveled all surrounding buildings, and it definitely would not have left the hospital solar panels in tact on top of the hospital.

The context was news that many student organizations had signed petitions in support of Hamas and condemnation of Israel and that some law firms and corporations were essentially using these petitions a blacklists to not hire them. Other examples of fake news were mentioned: Russian collusion, the "fine people" hoax, drinking bleach, et al. His idea is this: Employers could require potential employees to get a Certificate earned by taking a course in how to spot fake news and media bullshit.
It would require a credible curriculum that shows how fake news is produced and disseminated by both the Left and Right. He has a few preliminary ideas on how this program might be structured. This is only the first day so it will be awhile before it gets fleshed out into something practical but it seems like a pretty good idea.

Putin and Russia could have very easily been a friend and a valuable ally. They considered themselves European and wanted to be considered part of the West. We’d have a vastly better and safer world now if our ruling class had been sane enough to take advantage of that. Too late now. God only knows where we’ll all end up.

If you are a Patriots fan, you aren't subscribing to Patriots Nation because you want read see bad stuff about your team. Patriots Nation isn't going to break stories like Deflate-Gate because it would hurt the team. It is a fan site. It is there to make the readership happy and they want to hear good things about the Pats and bad things about whoever they are playing this week.
The NYT is nothing more than a fanboy site for Team Blue. As is WaPo. The Borg is using lawfare to keep Fox from being a fanboy site for Team Red. Even Fox isn't really Team Red since the journalist profession is solidly Team Blue. It would be like Yankees fans writing for a Red Sox site.
J-School is the indoctrination camp for Team Blue, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Just understand their bias and take everything that surrounds "The Narrative" with a grain of salt.
I see too many people now believing the Israel version of events in this hospital bombing and especially now that the US has announced that their intelligence supports the Israeli version. Would that be the same US intelligence that still can’t identify who blew up the Nordstream Pipeline and who blamed Russia at first?

Go to the New York Post - they have the recording of the terrorists talking between themselves noting that one of their own Islamic factions bombed the hospital. In fact, in past Hamas / Gaza fights - 25% of their own rockets backfire and hit areas in Gaza.
There are a number of sources that are providing real time reporting...but if you're on the LEFT, most likely you're reading propaganda (yes, you Ms. Chastain)....you haven't been told the true in many years. It's a get-your-head-out-of-the-sand-moment.

Hamas says Israel did it and Israel says Hamas did it; big surprise. They’re both guilty and immoral for the other innocent children they have been killing and maiming. Shame on both of them.
It is we who have enabled the whole thing. Funding Hamas while they launched rockets indiscriminately into Israel. Every person in the USA had an ancestor who was a refugee. Not one of us has a right to return to wherever it was that they came from.
They lost. Move on. Or keep fighting and dying taking everyone who isn't interested in that along for human shields.
