Greetings, friends. My apologies for not having a story up sooner. I have been working and re-working a story about the 2020 election, but I haven’t been able to get it quite right. I’ve also been spending time with my daughter and have been prioritizing that since about a week from now, I will be back home in Los Angeles and she will be Ohio.
We had a short road trip to Old Town Alexandria - which is full of history and has beautiful architecture. Now, we’re in Virginia Beach and then driving back up to Ohio by tomorrow. We were on a tight schedule to get her back home to spend her birthday with her boyfriend and his family.
I will then begin my long drive back.
A few news items to mention — Ron DeSantis (aka “Meatball Ron”) will announce his candidacy tonight on Twitter Spaces, apparently. The Left is taking it well, I see.
Julie Kelly asks, Why is everyone protecting Ray Epps?
Good question. You don’t go from demanding everyone “go into the Capitol” and then two seconds later disappear out of town, calling the FBI to “clarify” who you are. His story is not plausible.
It’s possible he flipped to give them info in exchange for not being charged, but it’s more likely he was an informant of some kind since they had so many there that day.
She also brings up what I suspected and wrote about, that Tucker Carlson’s anticipated show on Ray Epps might have been part of why they were taken out, though it also looks like it might have been part of the Dominion settlement.
Real Clear Politics is putting up its polls on the main page, Trump with a huge early lead:
He is taking no chances and going after “Ron DeSanctus.”
I personally don’t care which person wins the nomination. What I want is for the Democrats to be blown out of power with such force that they must face who they are and what they have become.

Hope you are having a great week. More later.

Yes!!
I didn't believe that was a real Vanity Fair headline, but holy shit it is.
