On his Primary Race I am Switzerland. Dieter (my Evil Twin) wants Sen. Tim Scott to win, then win the General election. Just to watch Corporate Media, The Left, Democrats (but I repeat myself) heads explode.

" who they are and what they have become."

Of late i have begun to ask were they Always this way, but did a better job of hiding it?

Tim Scott is an establishment man all the way which is not what we need. I think he is nice guy, but his agenda is the Bush agenda(hopefully without war).

Expand full comment

Yeah, I like Tim Scott a lot, too. I think he'd make a really great running mate and VP for 2024 and perhaps, eventual POTUS. I like Ramaswamy for POTUS in 2024. Trump may be the most effective solvent for the LSSP (Lying Sacks of Shit Party) Swamp we have, but he's so toxic and corrosive and has burned too many bridges to his friends. Ramaswamy has great policy ideas and may have the backbone, but is he mean enough? Probably not.

I think Clinton (the team) went a long way to embed friends into government & media thirty years ago who, after attaining high rank and influence, serve to protect Clinton. Obama horned in on the action and has done the same with his loyalists, but has gone further by perverting law and justice via 'fundamental transformation' and will exceed the Clinton-style foundation scheme by ten-fold.

Vivek isn’t interested in being mean. He’s extremely intelligent and doesn’t get angry or frustrated. He just calmly and clearly lays out the facts. I saw him on the CNN debate with Don Lemon and he just mopped the floor with Lemon who was mean, angry and frustrated. I think Vivek is ideally suited to fight the Woke mind virus which now permeates our society. If anyone can prevail against this demonic plague which has swept through our society, the West and even gone global, it’s Vivek.

Expand full comment

That could very well be and I agree with you on Vivek's capacity to defend his various theses. He is excellent with articulation of ideas. But, how about on the personal level? What if the LSSP trots out another tart, almost certainly a white woman, who makes base and nefarious allegations of indiscretion against him? How will he handle that? What if they bombard him with multiple, fraudulent personal scandals?

Expand full comment

Watch this short video about his family life and I think you’ll agree it’s pretty much impossible to believe he’s paid off a prostitute to keep quiet about him cheating on his wife. Easy to believe that about Trump. Not of Vivek. Easy to believe he really is dedicated to his family and to the importance of family for social stability. Ramaswamy is going to be immensely difficult for our ruling class to deal with and if they don’t already know that they soon will. They’re probably already wondering if he’ll do to them what he did to Don Lemon which was to mop the floor with him. Poor Lemon had no chance at all in that CNN debate.

Any sentient being would hope for the donkeys to get blown out of power. Unfortunately, DeSantis has neither the juice nor the cash. And Trump will destroy him. Even if he somehow manages to get the nod he would never win the general. Are we prepared for 4 more years of Biden just to keep that bad orange man away?

Expand full comment

No. Even as toxic as Trump is, he is still better than anybody the Donks have to offer.

TBH, I think Nature will intervene on our Biden problem. Look how much he has degraded in just two years at the helm. Interpreters must hate Biden-duty. How do they interpret his gibberish?

Expand full comment

I was being facetious when I said bad orange man. I am 110% behind Trump. And I don't consider him toxic. The toxicity comes from the rabid anti-Trump media and political opposition from the Uniparty. They project hate and vitriol at him to disguise their true emotion -- fear.

When Trump attacks the rabid Left, he attacks their leadership and media toadies. When Biden attacks the Right, he bypasses the leadership and goes right at the people, "MAGA semi-fascists" just as Hillary did in '16.

Expand full comment

Trump's toxicity has to do with alienating anyone who crosses him. It's mostly for show, because, afterall, he's a businessman and he has to deal with jerks and aholes. But, this leaves him very isolated at the top. Will any of his former aides, emissaries, and secretaries stick with him?

You are exactly right on your last. Trump only attacks individuals who cross him and ideas or institutions (e.g. fake news), he does not attack or try to divide the people. He wants all the votes he can get from wherever he can get them. Clinton and Biden have literally blown off about half the country and don't want their votes, effectively pushing those votes into Trump's camp or at least, some other candidate.

I agree. DeSantis has absolutely done some wonderful things in Florida, but the state still has many challenges he forfeited getting into a protracted battle with Disney in which the taxpayers will ultimately lose. He raised taxes up $1.5B and is a lawyer that hasn't worked in the private sector which means he knows nothing about economics. Trump and Ramaswamy do.

I like DeSantis, even though some things he has done recently aren't my faves. He's strongly anti-woke and it takes a steady hand to stand up to those tyrants. I voted for Trump twice (way better than either alternative), but I wish he would bow out bc I think it's possible he could lose fairly, & I think it's guaranteed the Dems will cheat on multiple levels to beat him------they successfully did it in 2020 & so the trail is blazed. I am alarmed at how much I distrust all levels of DC government---it's like being a different person. I automatically distrust every mainstream media story----how many times can they lie & be exposed lying & STILL people believe them?! In a very strange way, Covid was a gift that opened our eyes to how extensively the govt lies; how the media knows this & endorses it anyway; the truth is called disinformation; independent journalists have fled networks, papers, magazines bc they're all in on the scam; the intelligence community is the biggest threat everyday Americans face; and the FBI is so deeply corrupt that many Americans think it should be completely disbanded. I wouldn't have believed this before Trump & the Dems' reaction to him. Russiagate & the unbelievable amount of lying it took to prop that up and only 50% of the people understand it was ALL a lie. I can't imagine the level of cognitive dissonance to be a Democrat & see the truth. Russiagate followed by Covid followed by endless huge mistakes by Biden (or whoever is actually running the country) followed by revelations of truth that are just ignored by the media. Not published. Blacked out. The main thing that I want is transparency on all levels of govt and that's the media's undone JOB. We are into year 7 of post-2016 election, and everything is still upside-down. I do disagree with those who want the country to split in two-----America is worth fighting for and we can't let the LIARS win.

"I am alarmed at how much I distrust all levels of DC government"

The Distrust is Not just DC, but all national institutions, The Church, Academia, The Military, Political Parties, etc etc. I can't think of one Major National Institution that I have complete Trust in. Progressive (Woke) Ideology has infiltrated all levels of society (or so it appears to me). Maybe this Distrust is The Goal? There was a time, Not that long ago whee I could place Trust in (say) SBC, USCB, Fox News, FDA to tell me what was really going on,, or a least I could say Their Heart was In The Right Place. Today...not so much.

The country is already split in two internally. We lack a common reality, have become incomprehensible to each other and can no longer communicate. Where is the common ground in such an infinitely wide divide? There obviously is none. We always just talk past each other. This can only get worse and is getting worse by the day. The same people who insist Jan 6 was an “Insurrection!” have no problem with Joe’s open southern border or pornography for public school children. This is simply not working at all. Could it be that the reason why our society is so rapidly unraveling externally is because it no longer exists as a country internally?

I’m white, working class and live in Chicago. Voted for Trump twice although I’d now much prefer Vivek Ramaswamy whose campaign is based on fighting Woke ideology. The question is though, is America even still governable or even still a country? I have no doubt the democrats would love to do to me what they did to the QAnon Shaman (prison) or to Ashli Babbitt (murder) at the Jan 6 Capitol rally in 2021. You’re telling me I need to tolerate the fact that these people hate me, consider me a domestic terrorist and want me dead? You really do need to reconsider the absurdity of that belief. Time to start paying attention to what’s happening to the society you live in.

"America is worth fighting for and we can't let the LIARS win"

This.

I have to disagree on DeSantis Vs. Trump though. Regardless of whom you may consider the better man, I just don't see DeSantis winning the nomination let alone the general. He is young, unproven, unfunded, and while he has endured some media attacks, they have have been milquetoast compared to what Trump has endured -- and overcome -- in the past 7 years. Nothing less than the full force of the Deep State conspiring with the wholly corrupt media/entertainment complex. Meanwhile, DeSantis takes on Micky Mouse over petty culture war peccadillos.

Even if you like some or all of DeSantis' domestic positions, his foreign policy basket is completely empty. All you can see is the "Made in China" sticker at the bottom. Not since RR and the 1980 election has foreign policy been such an existential threat with the chance of nuclear war looming so close. Whomever takes over 1600 in 2025 is going to have to clean up Biden & Co's shitshow as a first priority. And I don't see DeSantis pulling that off either.

Expand full comment

I think he's more unlikely to win the nomination but I think he could win the general. I just think there's more to him than what y'all think. I think he's harder for them to attack ---they will definitely attack him but I don't see him going crazy on social media in defense. I loved Trump's policies and I do understand that he's the "whole package"----you can't carve out the bad and still get the good. It's the fighter in him that allowed him to survive it all. And I will definitely vote for him if he's the nominee. I think if he names Vivek or Scott as VP, he will win. He obviously won't pick DeSantis.

Also think the Disney fight was well worth is and maybe that's bc I'm a woman----this whole woke trans thing is an absolute invasion of women's place in the world & you have to go a them hard. Winning the culture war is important. Men cannot actually be women. I know you know this, but I think it's more important to women.

Agree foreign policy is absolutely critical at this juncture. Trum is good at it bc he is strong, won't back down. Biden is a puppet.

The entire federal government has been compromised for years but the media will continue to cover up the corruption and distract you with the fabricated controversies around social issues, the fabricated Ukraine war, the border crisis, the fabricated energy crisis, and more. But no one wants you to talk about the Uniparty-controlled coup d’Etat in November 2020. Wake up. I have not bought into the Trump smears, decidedly not. If he wins the nomination, I'll vote for him. I absolutely believe the 2020 election was loaded with fraud, and I think they'll not hesitate even a moment to do it all again. I think almost certainly that the FBI created Jan 6 to not only delegitimize Trump so he could never run again but also to throw his supporters in jail. I have zero faith in the federal govt and think Dems are beneath contempt. I'm willing to do more homework on DeSantis and who is funding him. But, more than anything, I want to WIN. I want this whole Weaponization of Govt to be the focus of not just the Rep House, but also the Rep Senate & the Rep President. I want the entirety of the Swamp to lose their jobs & be thrown out on their keisters. You don't have to be a wild eyed conspiracy nut, to Ask That Very Question. This is Just 1 question I have about the 2020 election. I've been following Presidential races since Nixon v Kennedy. I those 60+ years, I've seen some strange things, but nothing (and I mean NOTHING) remotely close to the 2020 election. Someday we will get the real story (or something close to it) about the 2020 election.

Right on Steve. As another old/ancient observer of these things, I agree, the 2020 election fraud was unprecedented. We need to continue to point this out.

Expand full comment

More than just point it out, we need to be prepared for a redux next year and find ways to head it off. Look at Maricopa County, AZ. What they pulled in the midterms was even worse than 2020. And once again, got away with it.

If (and I stress IF) anything like 2020 happens in 2024, I'm afraid there are those who are going to find out what a Real insurrection looks like. And it won't be a bunch of people wearing MAGA hats waving Gadsden Flags and taking Selfies. It Doesn't Have to be violent. What happens if (and I stress IF) say 30% of Americans just obeying federal regulations/laws? What if 30% stop paying/collecting federal (or state) taxes? Thing is our system requires everyone to participate, willingly. Not talking picking up an AR-15, or blowing things up, just Large numbers of people saying NO.

Of course this is all predicated on 1. Grand Pa Joe being The Candidate (t appears that even among Democrats he s not Well Loved) , 2. Wide spread Unusual electoral activities. I know every Election we are told THIS is the most important Election in history. This time it might actually be true....no matter who wins.

Expand full comment

That's a nightmare scenario I'd rather not envision. If Biden were to win, and in another contorted and highly questionable election, and a real revolt occur, I can totally seem him calling out the "AK-47's and F-16's" he threated with earlier.

Consider Waco, which was above all a (Democrat) show of force. Think you can stockpile some weapons in a compound and keep the big, bad government away? Wrong. They will come at you, take you out, along with your entire family, and there will be zero repercussions or accountability. Biden would not have the slightest apprehension of a do-over.

Our time to act is before -- and during -- the election.

True point, Brad. But how to head it off??

That is the $60,000 question, isn't it?

For starters, we need to play the donkey's game and embrace early mail-in ballots. Vote early, vote often. And ballot harvesting. For better or for worse (really, only the latter) this current system isn't going away any time soon. It's time we learn to love it.

Expand full comment

Best bang for the money would be 1) blanket the states with mail-in ballots; 2) send teams out to help people fill them in and return them to collection boxes; 3) watch the polling places like hawks and have attorneys ready to strike at places where we've seen most of the odd stuff happen.

I liked DeSantis more before he signed that "hate speech law" a month ago. Five years in prison for saying something the government doesn't like about Jews! He even made a big show of signing the bill in Israel, which didn't impress me. He also waffled about Ukraine, apparently after potential donors let him know that any questioning of American involvement in that war is verboten. The man blows with the wind.

Not that I like Trump very much either! No one with thin skin should be in a position of great power.

I like Vivek too. But he will not win the primary not the general. I think it is distracting us from the goal of winning the WH. I like Vivek Ramaswamy - but he needs to be more discerning about some of the things he's proposing as a candidate. He may truly believe that raising the voting age to 25 is a good idea - but that's not going be very well received (IMHO) across the entire age spectrum of voters. - on the Left or the Right. Why piss off a huge chunk of the younger voters you're hoping to engage?

There was no "indirect shot." Ron didn't call for the raid and bears no responsibility for any aspect of it. If I lived in FL, I’d be upset at re-electing my governor who promised 4 years only to start a ‘book tour’ 2 months later (disguised campaigning). DeSantis 2028 ok, not 2024. Trump now knows how deep the deep State is and knows how as President he can fight. Heck, if Obama and Biden can run amok over proper governance, now it’s his turn. Trump was lied to, lied about, wrongfully accused and impeached, and now frivolous lawsuits to fight. It’s Trump 2024. DeSantis has the Bushes, Paul Ryan, and Silicon Valley proving funds and controlling him -- no thanks to the RINOs who are as bad as the Democrats.
