The Nazis called it "Kraft durch Freude". A propaganda operation aimed at the working classes to help sell the party ideology by providing leisure benefits as rewards for loyalty.

And no one understands that better than those who see the line—the gulf—between humans and God.

With respect, this entire post reads like one long emotional boo-hoo-hoo. You make your position clear: you badly wanted to be a "good person." You're upset because people you used to associate with maybe actually treat others badly, and therefore can't be considered "good people." Boo-hoo.

People trying to make ends meet for themselves and their families aren't that interested in what others think of their politics, and even less about whether others regard them as "good people."

Unfortunately, your post is demonstrably devoid of optimism, energy, and the willingness to do the hard work to win - with examples.

I don't think you're a grifter, but you're winning a wide audience selling yourself as an apostate. Good for you. Lots of us grew up decades ago, however.

What about suggesting folks do something positive to affect the November election, which is still very much Trump's to win, huh? How about volunteering to monitor ballot counting, knocking on doors in a friendly and respectful manner? How about spending evenings listening first to the concerns of others, and then passing on some literature. How about offering to help get others to the polls irrespective of the party, and candidate, they end up supporting.

Think the situation in America today is more dire than when women were first struggling to get the vote a century ago? Really? How about women today trying to get an education in many of the 'religious' nations of the world? Nelson Mandela and Gandhi didn't really know how easy their struggles actually were? And they thought they had it bad? Is that it?

All worried voters need to do is get off their asses and start being the best examples of the virtues they espouse. If we're offering positive solutions, and examples from our own lives today, and producing clear policy cases with outcomes, we likely to be much more effective in actually affecting elections. Just saying.

Are you happy with the democrat’s open borders and war on meritocracy which is being replaced by Equity aka Equal Outcomes? If we can’t even maintain things as basic and essential as borders and meritocracy then in what sense is America even still a country?

“Editor’s Note: America is at war. This is not a traditional war, fought on a battlefield against an external enemy. It is a civilizational conflict against an internal enemy: the group quota regime, a revolutionary threat that seeks to reorganize American society around the principle of outcome equality — what the regime’s partisans call “equity.”

“This cold civil war may go unnoticed by many day-to-day, but its stakes are often as high as life and death. Here, Roger B. As Sasha has previously emphasized, Trump isn't perfect and neither are his supporters of which I am one. What is critical is that Trump is not an embedded piece of the swamp. He doesn't trust or aspire to be a part of it it for obvious reasons. Many of those who are on his side do so because they no longer believe in the system and admire him for giving the deep state the finger. The specifics of what happens down the line are not as important as neutralizing the existing structure to the point that rebuilding can begin. But we have to believe and have the strength to take chances while doing the morally right things.

Trump is a swamp too. He’s just the other swamp.

The ”deep state” is a rhetorical idea that even Trump didn’t think would stick. But it did.

If you ever ”neutralize the existing power structure” then a new power structure will replace it. History shows that the new one is usually worse than the old.

Instead of overthrowing democracy, it’s better to see politicians as human beings and vote for the least worst.

Trump is telling the power structure to go to hell. I have the vision of using democracy to dramatically change the power structure. While doing so may very well be worse than the previous one, it is much less likely to be worse than what Kamala will deliver.

Pennsylvania’s vote counting takes several days because by law, they cannot start counting until after election day. That is the only reason.

Republicans had a chance, but they refused to update the law. Their only reason for refusing was to preserve the ability to peddle the false narrative that Dems cheat during vote counting.

They don’t. Pennsylvania counts and it takes a while. That is all.

However, alert people are noticing that the Democrats’ campaign’s slogans, along with their images and ideas, have an uncanny resemblance to some things coming out of really icky regimes, such as the Nazis, the Soviets, and Chinese communists. I’m not saying that the Democrats are ready to commit genocide or open gulags, but it really is weird how leftists always think alike.

That’s not organic. That can only come from command central.

What smart people are noticing is that this is not the first time a political campaign has been defined by “joy.” In 1933, when Hitler was running to be Chancellor (an election he won, after which he instantly became dictator), the German Labor Front, which was working to promote the Nazis, started an organization called “Kraft durch Freude,” or, in English, “strength through joy”:

Set up in November 1933 as a tool to promote the advantages of Nazism to the German people and internationally, it was also used to ease the process of the rearmament of Germany. Through its structure of organized events and promotion of propaganda, it was also intended to prevent dissident and anti-state behavior. By 1939, it had become the world's largest tourism operator.
