2:47 And WHAT Exactly is Greg Abbott suppose to DO? What I see with Trucker A Lot of "I'm Mad As Hell And I'm Not Gonna Take It!" Not a lot of practical solutions.
Sorry I am in a FOUL mood today. We've got clowns in the House (Both Sides!) acting like spoiled children who if they don't get their way they're not gonna play!
Let me see if I understand this correctly. The future depends on who leads he GOP with a 5 seat majority. That's a 5 seat majority of 1/2 of 1 branch of the federal government? If the wrong (in your view) becomes Speaker, ts the end of the Republic.
Still on the fence about Tucker… not sure he’s what he says he is. Sometimes he makes sense, and then he goes and does something kind of wacked like the Obama and white gay sex interview. Bizarre.
Your description of Tucker is accurate. He’s all over the map and unpredictable. An idiosyncratic figure, to be sure, but often hilarious and brilliant. I don’t think he’s a phony. The various incongruities are part of who he is. Also he listens well, doesn’t interrupt his guests, doesn’t give a damn what people think of him, and consequently says exactly what he thinks. I take what I like and leave the rest.
That's a great observation about Joe Rogan. Like Tucker, Joe is a mixed bag. He has those same assets as Tucker, and is probably the most eclectic podcast host in the world. Sometimes he has a great guest and they have an amazing conversation. For instance, his recent interview with British comedian Jimmy Carr truly surprised me. I was expecting the usual shop talk and inane gossip between a couple of comedians, but Carr is a deep, articulate thinker. On the other hand, sometimes Joe can't stop talking. My theory is that this happens when he's been smoking a lot of pot.
In terms of how the left views Joe, I know from first-hand experience that progressives are remarkably incurious. If MSNBC and/or the New York Times says Rogan is a dangerous purveyor of misinformation, that's good enough for them, and they have no need to check for themselves. They have no idea who he is.
But regarding Tucker, the level of animosity is truly pathological. I decided not to get into it with my brother-in-law, who almost had a coronary at the mention of his name.
Yes, full disclosure I’m a former liberal (still hold some traditional liberal beliefs, just not down with their current incarnation). I go on an annual backpacking trip with a group of full on progressive Democrats who read the NYT on the regular and take it as gospel. Very smart people but are entrenched in their beliefs and haven’t had an awakening like me. Rogan’s name came up this year, and a couple of people called him an “asshole”. I defended him saying he’s alright and just having conversations on his podcast, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. His name came up because one guy said he deleted Spotify after Neil Young’s unhinged protest, and I said Neil Young was wrong about that, which my friend vehemently denied. Obviously he’s very pro-vax and is actually a PhD microbiologist, but he seems to be stuck on a certain narrative and hasn’t researched alternatives. Very frustrating for me to see such “intelligent” people be so closed minded.
Tucker isn't a fake. He is a super rich, super popular (populist) dude who spends a lot of time trying to understand and speak to normal "working class" (I would argue "thinking") Americans.
I didn’t watch that one but Tucker and Vivek are definitely a couple of my top favorites. You should watch the video I posted on Sasha’s other posting about the Hamas attack on Israel posted by the IDF. I was just now watching it again. Truly horrifying. No denying our fallen world is full of evil
Seva, you should watch this one, interview w/ Polish MP explaining Poland’s zero tolerance towards illegal immigration, and how that is tied to Polish history.
And isn't that guy the one whose party just lost the election about a week after presenting the impression that Poles are "all in" with the principles of his party?
Is seems to me that everybody is working for ‘somebody’ in this country, either the IC at both ends of the spectrum or massive lobbying interests. That can also mean NGOs, international bodies or nation-states.
I do not see how it is realistic to kill the top leadership of Hamas, especially without going into Gaza.
I agree that going into Gaza is a bad idea. That would be very costly to begin, somewhat costly to sustain, and undone in a historical minute once ended.
I would just inflict enough damage (mainly by knocking down buildings) to make the leadership of Hamas think "We have done ourselves more harm than good", and have done with it till next time.
Disappointed in them. Vivek says he's concerned about what Israel is going to do, doesn't say what they should do, and then says he'd give them full cover diplomatically. They're just trying to maintain an anti war position which is ridiculous. The US is in fact threatened by Hamas, and we are served by supporting Israel. Not with boots on the ground or nukes, as Tucker claimed some said but didn't say who. There may not be a perfect option in this situation, just bad and worse choices.
I watched 1/2 of the video directly on X and got frustrated with the overall discussion that I stopped. Lots of assumptions being made about what Israel is or isn’t doing, when in reality we have no idea what their plan is. I would bet they have one but why would they share that with a president of the US when it’s clear he isn’t even all there? How do they know he would announce it when he is in front of the mic again? And his support hasn’t been good where Israel is concerned. He and Obama have basically funded all that is happening by the money they have given to Iran. Also, I’m not super impressed with Vivek. I don’t trust him.
I'm worried that Cher has threatened to leave the country if Trump wins.
😂😂 Bye bye Cher...
Wrong title but very important and disturbing video about the invasion happening on our southern border.
Love this #BeLikePoland
I appreciate the postings, Sasha, since I’m not much of a Twitter user. Thx

Well, except they are in a life-and-death, winner-take-all struggle for the future of the USA.
"the future of the USA."

Hyperbole much?
My hyperbole was/is in response to hyperbolic references to "crybabies" and so on. Thank you for highlighting it.
Who is?
I must be missing something here… I don’t see Vivek in this video.
Sasha must have mixed up videos. No Vivek in this one.

That’s kind of how I feel about Joe Rogan. Good listener, asks the right questions, and tells it like he sees it.
And yet those on the left seem to hate these two...

Sorry for the off topic rant.

He excells at it.

Isn’t that in this one where he’s telling Tucker there hasn’t been a single terrorist attack in Poland because they won’t allow illegal immigration?
And isn't that guy the one whose party just lost the election about a week after presenting the impression that Poles are "all in" with the principles of his party?
Yeah, that’s the one. Maybe it had been posted before, it was my 1st time watching
I used to say that Carlson went off the deep end on about 1/4 of nights. He was still my fave. But I certainly never believed everything he said.
Is seems to me that everybody is working for ‘somebody’ in this country, either the IC at both ends of the spectrum or massive lobbying interests. That can also mean NGOs, international bodies or nation-states.
Same video as one last shared.

Thank you, as always, Sasha. 😊
Linked to an older (but still good) Tucker
This doesn't link to Ramaswamy interview...but an older boarder interview. Do you have the new link for YouTube? I couldn't find it.
Thank you for posting these as I would otherwise miss most of them. I’m too disorganized to remember to go looking.... cheers!

Messed up the upload (same clip as a week ago) - it happens.
Is Vivek still creepily silent about the millions of deaths from the toxxine?
What toxxine? Ask a precise detailed question, if you seek answers.
The one that we were all pushed to submit to for several years.
