[As usual, if you do not wish to receive these, please uncheck “Tucker’s Twitter” in your subscriber preferences] Happy Birthday Steve! Episode 41 Dublin in Flames What’s happening in Ireland will happen here, at scale. Steve Bannon explains. Youtube:
In 2009 DHS put out a white paper on homegrown Right Wing Extremism. It, for the most part, read like a laundry list your of normal pro-life, patriotic, conservative, constitutionalists groups…plus a few perennial unsavories to lump in with them. This was an ‘enemies and hit list'. The marxist/globalists have set a trap, they called them extremists to their shock and horror and then have set about nudging, poking and provoking these normal people… hoping they’ll fight back and then they can prosecute them. If they don’t fight back, well then, they’ve made them cower, all the better. But they’d really prefer to lock them up, they enjoy the power play and the ability to make people suffer. It’s wicked (literally), grievance politics… with religious fervor.
When polite people in government refuse to address the concerns of ordinary people out of cowardice, those concerns will be addressed by those who are not so polite. We've seen it here and now in Argentina and the Netherlands. We are in for turbulent times.
“ When polite people in government refuse to address the concerns of ordinary people out of cowardice, those concerns will be addressed by those who are not so polite.”
Conor for Irish Prez! Once again Tucker gives an excellent interview by listening and not interrupting. Are you listening Hannity, I doubt it. As a person who is proud of his Mick heritage like Bannon, the Irish people have had enough. My great grandfather emigrated from Ireland in the 1870's. My mother was French Canadian, her family emigrated from France to Canada in the early 1600's. All worked hard and paid their taxes, yes there is always the very odd exception. Ireland has had enough, its PM is a political disaster like ours here in Canada. Both must be ousted.
Red meat! These two guys are key to understanding a LOT of things. Bannon has a schtick, but he brings on actual subject matter experts. Tucker has opinions that may not make sense. Stick with these two even with their faults; we ALL have faults.
I recently watched a video where a white Canadian editor of Quillette was talking about white guilt and virtue signaling among upper class Woke white leftists, who said, “The reflex to bash your own tribe becomes its own tribalism.” A perfect description of our guilt-ridden, race obsessed, Woke, white leftist ruling class which is very much a tribe with a deep sense of white guilt and a deep racial hatred of working class whites who generally don’t have this white guilt and shame about being white. They don’t see us as fellow whites, fellow Americans or fellow human beings. The left traded class for race and now sees whites as oppressors of “people of color” in general and of blacks in particular. They see us as the source of evil in the world who must be brought under control, by whatever means necessary. They are quite insane and they have a media and many useful idiot supporters in the general public. Fat chance of this place ever again being a country.
“How Blatant Anti-White Racism Won Acceptance in Elite America.”
What Bannon and Tucker don't get is that the US is not a country. It is a geographic space inhabited by mutually hostile tribes. There is a tendency in conservative circles to blame everything on our useless political class. Useless they are but the big problem is the division in the culture.
I agree. This goes way beyond our government and media. There are many in the general public who support our Woke ruling class but even that coalition is rapidly fragmenting due to things like open borders and now also the split between those who support Israel and those who support the Palestinians. These are becoming huge fractures in the democrats base.
The Democrat split over Israel goes with the Republican split over Ukraine. Perhaps both parties will splinter and break the UniParty. Of course the last time this happened we got CW1.
Anastasi says “If you loved this video it would make me really happy if you share it on social media, thank you for watching.” It is very well done and well worth watching. I believe America is disintegrating and our entire world is also in a tailspin. This belief is held by people like Elon, Vivek, Bret Weinstein and many others like them so I’m not just spouting nuthead nonsense here. The exponential advance of AI is astonishing and a game changer for all of humanity. My favorite company is Elon’s Tesla, “Tesla is one among very few companies that are building the entire ecosystem for Al and only few companies have something comparable like Google, Nvidia and now probably Microsoft.” but all these AI companies are amazing. Hopefully this will save our sinking ship. Hope springs eternal and there is good reason to be hopeful about this but also good reason to believe we’re doomed. The best of times. The worst of times.
Trump never had a chance. He couldn't even get the Republicans who ran on closing the border to fund a single penny for the wall. Nor would they overturn Obamacare. Something they also ran on. Trump is all about making things happen. Republicans and Democrats are all about making sure nothing ever happens to upset their big guy cuts (close to $1T last year when you throw in the cartel money - you don't really think those guys are untaxed....)
Obamacare .provided improved access to medical care for 60,000 residents of Sacramento County, which eliminated my need to volunteer as a PCP. Without it, specialty care was only available via charity, meaning I had to beg for my patients. One patient, aged 60, too rich for Medi-Cal, because she owned her home, but could not afford a $900 per month private medical insurance because she could not work her job making sandwiches art the Safeway deli, could not receive hip replacement surgery. Obamacare fixed this problem. It should not have been overturned. The republicans offered no alternative. Trump did a terrible job playing doctor resulting in many avoidable covid deaths for low vaccination rates and not wearing masks.
“...many avoidable covid deaths for low vaccination rates and not wearing masks.” Huh? Someone is not paying attention to information regarding the lack of efficacy of either the “vaccines” or masks that is being exposed daily.
The true victim of the Covid years is the trust people had in the medical profession...trust that was squandered by “professionals” who lacked the courage to put their patients’ health before their jobs!
IMHO, doubling down at this point just makes one look foolish. I would much rather hear my PCP say, “I made mistakes, and I’ll make sure I never make those mistakes again!”
What was the equity in her home? Why should poor people pay into a system so another person can sit on $1M in equity in her home? I have no doubt that some people were helped by Obamacare, but many others ended up paying far more for far less. At the top of the list is the Hawaii Health Connector, which has received $205,342,270 in federal funding, only to insure 5,744 people, or $35,749 per enrollee. If you spend Billion$ or Trillion$, somebody, somewhere will be helped. No doubt. (https://www.atr.org/numbers-never-lie-true-cost-obamacare/).
Orenv - I did not ask her. Her career was with Safeway, so I assume her home was below the median price for Sacramento, which would have been about $350,000 at the time. I did not ask about her mortgage balance.
Obamacare is optional for people. Those who can find a better deal without government subsidies can refuse the help Obamacare provides.
I agree, the Hawaii Health Connector finances you mention make no sense.
Maybe our federal government could have created a more efficient method to help insure those who are too poor to buy medical care insurance but too rich for Medi-Caid? The Republicans did not offer a better solution. Almost all of the 60,000 people the country clinic I served as a volunteer physician are now insured through Obamacare and have access to physicians in private practice or with the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, where both systems offer timely specialty care. The Republican promise to "repeal and replace" Obamacare was a fake promise because its leaders never devised an alternative to address the unmet need Obamacare filled.
I agree with you, a review of the Hawaii Health Connector seems appropriate,, assuming your facts are correct. Excellence in administering government programs is important. Even Medicare, where I worked as one of its Contractor Medical Directors can be administered better. CMS is trying its best.
Sometimes politicians interfere, such as with the scare of "death panels", raised by republicans --which was total BS- a scare tactic to gain votes, resulting in a 4 year delay to implement the current benefit of a "welcome to medicare" check up.
There is a lot of hype and BS in political agendas, which is why focusing on facts matters. The goal of politicians, according to Gore Vidal is to convince voters to vote against their own self-interest.
There are always death panels. Someone has to decide to cut the cord on medical spending that makes no sense. Most people have no interest in giving up things they want to get something amorphous like medical insurance. If the "government" will come along and give something for free, or subsidized, most people would not say no.
Subsidizing care from the government is no way to save money. The government could care less how much is spent, however, those that lobby congress will make sure the necessary coding is in place to make lots more money. See here for annual medical costs:
The closest the article came to explaining it was when they quoted the spokesperson as saying “He gets cold sometimes.” My guess is that he has health issues that make him feel cold all the time. He doesn’t look very healthy although better than in the past when he had a red face and blood shot eyes.
I didn’t find it offensive to wonder why he wears 3 shirts. He looks healthier now than in the past but I used to wonder why he always looked so sick. That doesn’t mean though that I had no interest in what he was saying.
Looks matter, not message. Now I get why - according to Molly Ball at time on 2.4.2021 who wrote a 25 page essay on how they 'Saved the Election' - Trump had to get kicked out of office.
I regret getting shot at in service to my country in the terms of 'upholding the Constitution'.
Laughable. The Presidency has cost him considerably. Money, reputation, and brand. Everyone else makes money, Trump, as a message to any who would dare follow him, loses money. His net worth according to Forbes went from $4.1B to $2.6B

Well said, and spot on.

Steve Bannon. A Legend In his Own Mind.
Arghhhhhhhhhhh
Fear mongering about real problem to set up Trump in 2024 when he did not solve them when he had the chance.
Trump never had a chance. He couldn't even get the Republicans who ran on closing the border to fund a single penny for the wall. Nor would they overturn Obamacare. Something they also ran on. There is absolutely nobody incentivized to limit health care costs other than a paying consumer.
Any thoughts on Ireland? Immigration here? Or, is discussing this issue always fear mongering?
If while watching the video you can't figure out Bannon's multi-shirt look, this helps to explain it. https://www.thecut.com/2017/09/why-steve-bannon-wears-so-many-shirts.html

Bannon is a true believer. Trump just wants to be a good president and is not necessarily politically motivated.
Laughable. The Presidency has cost him considerably. Money, reputation, and brand. Everyone else makes money, Trump, as a message to any who would dare follow him, loses money. His net worth according to Forbes went from $4.1B to $2.6B
