anyone who wants to be president is probably insane, tbh. What I like about Vivek is that he's actually hitting the campaign trail and meeting and talking with EVERYONE who shows up, including protestors. He won't get the nomination, he knows that, but he's trying anyway. I don't recall any politician who has campaigned so much. I agree- he's a fresh breath of air. The Ron Paul libertarian in me really does like what he says. The "I've been burned too much in the last 15 years" in me is skeptical about everyone.

Could it be possible that in a Trump Vivek ticket he could even make Trump the 'good cop'?

The way out of this mess:

1. Create an easy system for real money: private currencies/warrants based on real assets, goods, services, etc. (gold, corn, oil, distance/volume/weight transportation, labor human hour/minute, etc.)

2. Ban legal tender. Let the free markets decide which real-currencies/valuables/warrants they prefer to trade with

3. Ban paper-backed currencies (unlike real-backed ones of point 1.)

4. Enforce a Legal Banking Reserve of 100% of deposits (so banks don't create money based on air) and therefore there's no excuse for a Central Bank, because there would be no risk of bank-runs since all their loans are fully backed with deposits

Dude, DeSantis did The Grassley. So don’t make it sound like Vivek is some hero. While he’s talking and doing his Trump surrogacy work, DeSantis is actually doing the maga and continually racking up wins against the communists.

No matter what we think of Vivek (is he a UniParty plant, WEF ties, or best thing since sliced bread), what I DO applaud him for is his willingness to speak out and to do so loudly and firmly. He is saying the words we all wish we heard more of. In the same way I am glad that RFKJr is running, I am glad Vivek is running. They are both bringing TO THE PUBLIC SQUARE topics that we need people to be fully aware of! Would I vote for either of them?…that’s another topic all together!

Your comment closely approximates my thinking. Re Trump's reaction - he is a guy who willingly entered the political arena, but cannot take criticism. To revert to my childhood - "He can dish it out but he sure can't take it". And his name-calling doesn't amuse me; it's irritating and juvenile.

Also, as I recall, Vivek espoused the same “America first, other countries second” about our engagement in Ukraine, so the same position vis a vis Israel doesn’t necessarily make him anti-Israel, just pro American. IMHO

What I like about Trump is he is not afraid to say anything to defend himself and what he had accomplished as President. He brought home all the American political prisoners, the dog tags and belongings of War hero's who never came home from the Korean War. He is invested in America no where else, he cannot be bought, he has no felons in his family. He thanks God for our country and to bring us back to God. Look how the enemy has closed ranks to target Donald Trump, they fear him the most because his motto is not to Globalize our country but make it Great as it should and could be....these other guys fail to have the skills he has to fix the FEDERAL agencies under siege by traitors.

Ummm....he refuses to debate DeSantis or anyone for that matter BECAUSE he can’t defend his record. Nobody fears Trump. The demons know they can defeat him and they’ll put him behind bars after/if he secures the nomination. That’s what they went. And the Right is walking right into. That’s why we lose. Everything Trump accuses the Biden campaign in 2020, he’s doing now.

Wtf does “too far behind” matter?! Are you making a bet on a football team or picking the best candidate to punch communists integrity face? I don’t watch CNN, dick. They are playing for keeps. Trump didn’t (didn’t go after Hillary; appointed Wray and Barr). Every place he is indicted is corrupt. The jury pools are coming from places that voted in nearly single digits for Trump. The judges are corrupt communists. He will be indicted - fair or not. Then he will be taken off ballots. This isn’t about law; it’s about power and will. And the communists control all the levers of power and have the will. We have nobody or very few fighting against it. We’re more concerned with the grift, merchandise, memes, clicks, followers, and idolatry of the guy who made the swamp worse.

Still trying to wrap my head around this, though I'm pretty much with Sasha at this point. Remember that we are in the 11th hour of the leadup to the primaries. This is always an insane time where both the candidates and the media take everything to the extreme, trying to eke out some tiny edge. One toe closer to the finish line. Which inevitably leads to piques of grandiosity and cheap shots at opponents, both of which lead to equally inevitable regret.

Vivek is still very green in the cut throat world of politics. Diving headfirst into Presidential politics as your first foray is all that much more perilous. So you have to cut the guy some slack. If/when he tries again we would have every right to expect better.

As for his dissing on Trump's chance of a win, here is where he goes off the rails as Sasha and the whole of the Twitterverse exclaim. The crucial piece he is missing is that in the fantasy scenario where he beats out both Haley (champion of the Deep State) and Trump (he of the MAGA-verse) , is how the forces of both the Deep State and the hardcore MAGA's will turn against him. Unlike Trump, Vivek has nowhere near the defenses such as self-funding and worldwide name recognition in which to stand his ground. He would be crushed and left by the side of the road before September was over.

2024 will not disappoint in delivering the most tumultuous year in modern -- if not all of -- American history. Root for the candidate of your choice, but most of all root of America. She needs all the help she can get right now.

Many in the world though associate the Trump name with a racist buffoon due to our media smearing Trump as a racist buffoon globally for the past 7 years. Vivek is also known globally, especially in India, where he has many admirers due to commitment to traditional values which are global values.

True, of course, though in politics as in any celebrity-driven profession, anonymity is often worse than dislike. At this point Trump is a known quantity, love him or hate him. They have nothing left to throw at him. Yet he's still standing.

I was not aware of Vivek's image in India though. Very interesting. I can't recall hearing anything out his Hindu faith oddly enough, either positive or negative. I suppose that he hasn't polled high enough for the temptation, though if he were to shoot up for some reason, I would imagine his opponent would make issue of it.

And I had completely forgotten about those nauseatingly pandering Biden phony faith ads. People really are dupes.

All things are now global in our always online global civilization and our reality war of the Woke vs the nonWoke is raging in India and many other places and Putin is positioning himself as the global champion of traditional values and is gaining much support from the global south with this. I always had a mistrust of Vivek even while liking many things he said. He argues with the media, but gets away with it. Red flag when media allows it so easily. His former ties to WEF, then sues them and gets an apology letter. Red flag, that happened in just 3 months from suing to receiving apology. Reminds me too much of another out of country politician 🧐 I wasn’t impressed in 2008 and definitely not now. His ties to pharma, which made him a billionaire in a very short time. Another red flag. Vivek ran originally sounding like a good VP choice, then his 1776 ad showed his true stance regarding Trump. Trump is a fighter for himself and our country.

I would suspect though that the media has been somewhat accommodating of Vivek simply so they can help him siphon off some MAGA support away from Trump and not because they truly back him (or, God help them, anything MAGA).

Ron!'s candidacy failed on its own, and there isn't enough of a following of Vivek to make much of a difference - I think it's safe to say that Trump knows what he's doing.

You're right, though, in that this will be that on which the propaganda apparatus, the DeSantis and Haley supporters (respectively), the NeverTrumpers, and the ink-stained wretches like Sykes, and Goldberg will feed for the next few weeks, anyway.

“Trump knows what he's doing.”

Then why did he support the loser Ronna McDaniel for RNC leadership rather than the superbly well qualified Harmeet Dhillon? Probably because Ronna said nice things about him in her tweets and he wanted to return the favor. Trump has a huge ego which has enabled him to shrug off the intense hate campaign against him for the past 7 years but the downside of such a huge ego is that he loves Trump more than he loves America and Trump wants revenge on his enemies and his enemies are very much aware of that which means your dream of a Trump presidency where he destroys his enemies is highly unlikely.

I no longer care for people running for office who have never had a real job with risk(Haley and DeSantis) - they depend on others for their wealth and have already sold their souls to globalism. I did read somewhere that whatever pharmaceutical he was involved in was a failure, but he somehow still managed to make a fortune. That’s pretty discomfiting to hear.

Yes, if you’re an America First proponent he seems to be “saying” all the right things, but I don’t hear how those things have applied to him in his personal life, though admittedly I haven’t listened to all

of his speeches and interviews, just a few of those that have made some kind of news.

He may, after all, just be an extremely bright egomaniac grabbing for the spotlight, but somethings off about him I can’t put my finger on.

Anyway, my “Spidey senses” about him have been on high alert ever since he came on the scene as a candidate and show no signs of abating any time soon.

Agreed. I like him, he’s a fighter and unafraid of the idiots and the press. But, my “spidey sense” goes off when I watch him. Too earnest? Too eager? Too something. My general instinct is not ready for prime time but smart and capable. Cabinet or VP or border fixer, but get him ready for Prez. We’ve got to shed ourselves of Obama’s toxic people staffing DC. I’ll take whoever can accomplish that——-I’m sick to death of him.

I haven’t trusted him from the start — with red flags really going up in the Tucker interview. Somehow he knows “they” won’t allow Trump in. 🤔 Curious. His ties to WEF are a nonstarter. Plus using the “truth” as his background— give me a break. Has he had an original idea? Copies Trump in an attempt to replace — sounds like someone else who masquerades as something he isn’t. No, thanks.
