The simplest explanations are usually true. I'm more upset at the captive media and just tired of corruption. I generally had a positive view of Biden before he became president. I see him now as degenerate and comfortable with malevolence.

Why would any staffer or visitor bring a bag of coke to the White House, then leave it apparently forgotten in a cubbyhole on departing? Doesn’t seem likely.
To me, it seems more likely that the coke was deliberately left as a “drop” to someone who was supposed to retrieve it from the cubby. Someone who was already in the White House. DoorDash for drugs. But someone forgot to retrieve it before departing for Camp David....
The Secret Service identified 500 people were in the area where the cocaine was found. Was Hunter’s name on the list of 500? Just asking? Unfortunately, it’s probably classified.
How many were subject to bag search and pat down before being admitted? I've visited the West Wing as a VIP, through the security gate on the OEOB driveway side of the property. There was a search. I was with a security clearance employee (sit room level) so if we got the once over, I'm guessing everyone does. And who would think that cameras wouldn't catch such a plant? What a huge risk!

People well familiar with White House security protocol, like Dan Bongino, who was Secret Service, state it would have been found during security check. The only ones who bypass security are family. Occam’s Razor points to the most obvious answer, and we all know what that is. As many have said, the fact they couldn’t figure out who’s it was, proves it was Hunters.
On the one hand, I’m surprised it came to light. There likely actually is no way to know whose it was.
I held a part-time job as a tv cable CSR, many long years ago. Even there I had to be tested for drug use to enter the place. On the news they admitted the staffers that use that entrance hadn’t been tested. One wonders if they have been now.
On the other hand, Hunter’s use of drugs is no secret. He’d get pardoned anyway.

I agree there are much more important issues. At the same time, these issues are not mutually exclusive and this one exposes again the disparity between coverage of Trump and coverage of Biden.

I could argue that him running in one of the two major parties is that line for many. Sasha, a story about our ruling class doing away w/ the Child Tax Credit however, would be much better use of our critical thinking, IMHO. In my view, this was a government action (during covid) that really helps the common people/working families, regardless of political leaning, class or race. There isn’t enough talk about this. Why does that program that impacts so many Americans go away, and so little talk of it?
