I'm not sure why Reiner's hatred of Trump gets so much attention. He's an angry, hateful little person who will vanish one day and no one will remember anything about him other than the fact that he was unhinged by his hatred. Any good he might have accomplished over the years will be lost and overshadowed by this one singular characteristic of his life. This is Rob Reiner...Hater!

Unfortunately, the crazed man have done some very good movies. He’ll leave behind, if nothing else, an orgasm scene, with his mom begging: “May I have what she had” 🫶🏼😁

I didn’t mean to imply that nothing Reiner ever did was any good, only that he will likely be better remembered for his unhinged vitriol than for any cute lines he may have spoken or written.

JT, we are different in this regard. His vitriol is so insane that my hearing shuts down at “Hello” 😁

His movies are a different thing. Besides, I am old fashioned. When Reiner is gone, I’ll remember only good or nothing 😁

And his father, Carl Reiner. I don't even want to know if he shared any of Rob's rabid silliness. Sick of likable people revealing vile facets.

That’s new to me. Thank you for letting us know.

I certainly enjoyed him as an actor and comedian. I wonder if their expression of their politics is a sign of vile or boundaries of intelligence?

Any Rand posited in Philosophy: Who Needs It that thinking is volitional. Perhaps, otherwise intelligent people have not took time and exerted effort to think through certain areas. Moreover, they have not been smart and humble enough to keep their mouths shut in the areas they have not thought enough.

Best line in the whole movie! I’ll have what she’s having!

Great post. You know, I couldn't stand Barack Obama because he was raised as a communist and was too cowardly to own up to it while he secretly weaponized cretin George W's surveillance state against the American People. It started with the IRS... More importantly, he had never held a real job in his life - those are folks I do not give the time of day(sans the sick and elderly, of course).

I had every reason to hate him, but I didn't as most of us are not haters. I called him 'my president' because Sheeple were herded into believing narratives given them by the Media and chose not to see the truth; I wrongly assumed folks would eventually figure him out and make different choices which is the American way.

While I never supported him, I did hope that after he was elected that he would be in a place to heal the racial divisions. Boy, was I wrong. In any kind of honest history, his legacy will be racial division and totalitarianism. And he did both deliberately.

Seems like the goal was never to heal, but to inflame.

Guys like you are the most important in society right now - clarity. After the Patriot Act I disavowed myself from W who I voted for twice; there really wasn't any good thing he did.

"I'm from the government and I'm here to help." Nine of the most dangerous words evah. And I am a lifetime govt employee(soldier and volunteer firefighter). As a volunteer we actually help folks, but there are serious windows where we can fuck it up.

Am I wrong to assume that if we can print money.... finance is hosed? :-D

Unfortunately, that is only the tip of the iceberg. Add to that the use of finance to make policy like the tax code, sanctions on Russia, blackmailing states or countries with their own money or the latest iteration of Operation Chokepoint. If you really want to have nightmares take a deep dive into derivatives. There is more exposure than there is money in the world. Digital is just another form of fiat money. If you could actually redeem it for the electricity needed to mine it, it might be useful. And there is way more private debt than is healthy. It is a giant game of Jenga.

There was good background on Ozero that was of course never allowed in any MSM publication. Hillary tried to denigrate him but was obviously told to knock it off or else … But too many Americans were still ignorant about 9/11 and the depths to which the Deep State had descended for the globalist banking & corporate cabal. Too many were unaware of the true intent of the Patriot Act. Too many were still living in “the Matrix”.

I never bought into the Black Jesus con. By the time of Trayvon and after the "bitter clingers" comment, my suspicions were confirmed. Such a swine. Such toxic poison he injected into the life of our nation.

Yeah... I can't stand Sean Hannity any more, but in 2007 he was literally the only one exposing The Lightbringer for who he actually was and it was disheartening. Now that I think about it.... I watched his 2004 DNC keynote speech I had the first inklings of "This guy is a sham artist and amazing stage actor - that can't be a good thing."

I like Hannity's show when there is a guest host - like yesterday with Joe Pags.

Thank you, Sasha! Brilliant. Particularly the Ron Paul excerpt. should be elementary school history material. Hopefully Trump will pardon the entire J6 crew and we can be done with this phase of a sham of democracy..

Reiner doesn't realize he lives in the capitol, a la Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games, where the inhabitants look down their noses at District residents, whom they view as ignorant rubes. Reiner needs to read the series -- doesn't work out well for the capitol.

I certainly enjoyed crazed Rob as a director. I wonder if his expression of his politics is a sign of vile or boundaries of intelligence?

Any Rand posited in Philosophy: Who Needs It that thinking is volitional. Perhaps, otherwise intelligent people have not took time and exerted effort to think through certain areas, in Rob’s case - politics. Moreover, he has not been smart and humble enough to keep his mouths shut in the areas he has not thought enough.

Rob’s example shows dangers of blindly following one’s intuition, gut feelings, without systematically verifying their validity. At the very least, in Rob’s case, we see a smart fool.

I would have loved to have heard the voice of Nicholson as Jessup speaking the lines you wrote, Sasha - and, it likely could have been done via AI, but it also would have been a very, very labour-intensive process.

Nonetheless, this is a great series! Thank you, so much!

Just having him say ‘you can’t handle the truth’ in that context would be well worth the effort.

WOW, fantastic article Sasha. Conspiracy theories; if you don't think that the powerful will conspire with each other for their own benefit you are a little slow. If you do think so but won't say so, you are a bit cowardly. Some thoughts:

Exclusive: FBI finds scant evidence U.S. Capitol attack was coordinated - sources

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/exclusive-fbi-finds-scant-evidence-us-capitol-attack-was-coordinated-sources-2021-08-20/

WASHINGTON, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.

Sasha, you're incredibly talented at raising skepticism of the narratives promoted by the Establishment (ie Jan6). And you do that brilliantly within the framework of political humor.

Tarik Johnson is a former Lieutenant with the U.S. Capitol Police. If you're on X, I highly recommend you follow him for inside information on Jan6 that counters the Establishment's Jan6 narrative. Here's an example of a tweet from Tarik Johnson (@elleonCEOTK) in response to a post from Liz Cheney.
