Our trek into the 4th Turning seems purposeful and deliberate, the stuff of skewed minds in media, academia, and on the left. Worse, it seems to be global.
I’ve read all the books years ago, and read Howe’s revised Fourth Turning and Howe seem to have a bias against “right wingers” and Trump. It made me think that Strauss was the more right leaning of the two.
Obviously, I know who I’m voting for, but even if Trump wins, will the deep state allow him to take power again? IDK.
America’s Founders (both Federalists and “Anti-Federalists”) documented their disagreements in creating a new federal, central government in the Federalist Papers and the The-Anti-Federalist-Papers. Our “Anti-Federalist” ancestors warned us that establishing a central government would be dangerous as it could grow too big. We did not heed the warnings of the “Anti-Federalists” that the government would grow too big and corrupt!
I bought and read the Fourth Turning when it came out. It was dense and read like graduate work. So I bought the Cliff Notes and read that. My main takeaway is that we are on the brink of a new reality, unlike anything any living person has experienced or can imagine.
His book is a great insight into generational patterns. We are actually towards the end of the 4th turning and will be entering the rebuilding of the 1st.
It is very thought provoking that many Biblically oriented people are looking at the time stamp (6:11pmEST) of the recent assassination attempt on President Trump as some kind of “sign” that points to various scriptures in the Holy Writ. This would include Ephesians 6:11, and Genesis 6:11.
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). KJV
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence” (Gen 6:11). KJV
Of course, when you look at the context of Ephesians 6, you will quickly discover there is much more to what the Lord was trying to communicate:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:12-18). KJV
However, there were also some other scriptures found in the Torah (Tanach or Old Testament) that might perhaps shed some additional light on what the Almighty was trying to communicate to His children around the world impacted by this universally witnessed effort to assassinate the current Republican Party nominee in the United States for the Presidential election in November.
“And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot” (Lev 8:22-23). KJV
In this chapter of Leviticus, Moses is instructed by the Holy One to anoint the high priest and his sons for the priesthood. Now was it not providential that when the President moved his head slightly to the right to view the elevated screen presenting the details about illegal immigration statistics, the assassin’s bullet clipped off the tip of his right ear. Immediately, the natural reflexive response was to grab the ear with the right hand which inevitably brought the gushing blood to his right thumb. Then in the chaos that ensued, Trump went into a crouched position with the blood flowing fully from his pierced ear to the podium deck. Within moments, a pool of blood formed, and for some reason, perhaps the impact of the Secret Service agents jumping upon him, his shoes (probably loafers) inadvertently came off. Is it possible that the missing shoe was from his right foot and is it additionally conceivable that while standing back up, he accidentally stepped in the blood splotches soaking a modicum of blood through his stocking feet to his right big toe?
Would it not be something that God in his inimitable way was in the process of fulfilling the call on President Trump that began years ago with the Cyrus anointing (Isaiah 44:28-45:1), followed by the Jehu anointing (2 Kings 9:1-10:34), and now to top it off, the Aaron anointing (above) to complete the assignments given to him to take down the wicked forces that have surreptitiously taken over so much of world systems for their leader, the god of this world, the prince of the power of air, the accuser of the brethren, Lucifer, Satan, the evil one!
Who knows? Sometimes we all must have the eyes to see and the ears to hear what the Holy One of Israel is doing in the here and now. Cyrus didn’t know what he was going to do regarding Israel until he was led to do it. Jehu had no idea he was going to be anointed by one of Elisha’s assistant prophets to take down the kings of Judah and Israel and preside over the demise of Queen Jezebel. And most certainly, Aaron and his sons did not know or understand the protocol for anointing the high priest and priesthood until the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob gave the instructions to his brother Moses…
Let’s keep praying for God’s will to be done, and that He would have mercy on His people and the nations where they reside.
You know what's really funny..? This so called political party has been fighting tooth and nail to obstruct, interrupt,stoke chaos whenever possible etc. all negative shit. For 10 years now they've not offered one idea or policy to improve anything. I been waiting and watching to see what they have to offer that we should all give up our normal way of life for and so far I've seen nothing. Nothing at all. They wanted 2020 so bad . What did they do with the win? Squandered it away with dementia joe.
Somebody has got to take the reins back. Enough is enough.
Most people like to enjoys the lives they have here in America. That's the way it's always going to be. They should try getting used to it.
Interesting video. A lot of stuff is about societal trends, but then there is a personal element in how people react to it. One's upbringing places a huge part as does one's view of God and matters eternal. Then there is individual personality. A person brimming with nervous energy is probably going to react differently than a quiet reflective person. It's an interesting topic to contemplate.
Interesting discussion. The only part I absolutely disagree with is his assertion that neither side would abide the succession of the other. If the Left wanted their own country, believe me, I’d help them pack!

On the one hand there are hopeful signs.
