They are definitely NOT tracking folks recently pulled into MAGA because these folks aren't public about anything, mainly out of fear of pushback. That attitude is starting to recede here in MN.

My son lives in South Minneapolis which, while only 2.5 miles from Floyd Square, is the playground of the middle manager types working in Minneapolis. Fully liberal area for three generations. Trump signs are appearing...

It helps me to think of the MSM and the Democrat Party as one indivisible unit. I entertain no expectations of real journalistic behavior because they are the DNC now.

Yes, and our nation and our political processes are much the worse off for this big tilt towards one party. How can the public become informed and exercise good judgement in making their political choices if journalists like Ms. Bash are so overtly partisan towards Dems as to mimic the "journalists" who worked for Pravda and Izvestia in the old USSR.

with respect, Why Pravda and Soviet era when US propaganda over the last decades is so readily available.?

Judith Miller NYT, WMD claims. Over 20 years ago.

Jump forward FBI and DOJ and former NSA, CIA, DOD claim Russians and Trump, Laptop. And these "reputable" news sources ate it up and disseminated back to general public as "fact checked"!

Recent confession by Zuckerberg/Facebook/META that he was blackmailed into complying with censorship for Harris and Biden. List goes on. People still have no clue what our government carried out in Syria. Still blind to our actions in Ukraine.

So going back to Soviet Union risks limiting the immediate past examples of abuses of public trust and gives casual readers option to deflect blame.

There is only a very very few journalistic people I can trust now most put their ideology first and foremost.

My wife is friends with a lady that retired from the San Fran DA’s as a legal aid. She worked alongside Kamala’s aids. They all hated her. They would try to prepare her for cases, usually explaining them to her 3 times, but she was too dumb to understand them. She would go into the hearings and get embarrassed and then she would say that her aids didn’t prepare her and scream at them. Entitled, vain, vindictive, and a moron. A brat, some would say.

Right?! Have you ever been polled? I haven't at age 55.

I have been polled, back in the day of "home phones." I laughed at the person asking questions and said I'm not answering Yes or No to that bc the question itself is biased in the Dem's favor. So I re-phrased it for them, but he couldn't "record" my response since it wasn't in their format. That was probably 20 years ago & confirmed for me that pollsters are at base, liars and manipulators.

Great video!!!! That actually makes me feel a little bit better, like this is just all a cycle, there are always devils, there is always the horrible press, there is always the opposition. Maybe the only difference is we currently have Marxists in charge.

Expand full comment

These days it's more than "Marxists". It's *authoritarian* Marxists, formerly known as "Communists". Practically speaking, the change from "Communism" to "Neo-Communism", with immutables like race in place of "the workers" and redistribution of status (not just wealth) in place of "the workers controlling the means of production", is a distinction without a difference: the dictatorship of the oppressed must be achieved!

CNN, similarly. Was not always so. It is now. Even their once entertaining talking heads, such as James Carville and Paul Begala, just opt with ad hom insults if you disagree with their sycophancy. Carville thinks the man polling from 5-14 per cent for dem. US president, should be 'institutionalized'. ha ha. See, he's only joking, when Trump says such things, he's planning a dictatorship. James you see, as is Paul, is now a shameless dishonest whore as well.

and how about something else? Bill Clinton, an aging former president, can't for the life of him pronounce Kamala's name correctly. Why is Trump a racist, but he's a charming oldster?

Lastly, the woman who said she would 'never take a Trump vax!' actually has blue team sycophants coming on each and every day to call her so smart not to debate Trump, then so smart not to have press conferences, and so smart not to have policy positions on the webite--! (she's all visionary first, like, uh, JFK!)...then, so smart to have an interview with mediocre Dana, and have her VP along. Pretty much anything and everything she says is great and wise and whatever the Biden/Harris admin. tells them to say or do. The blue team state media champion dishonest whoredom. Even as we speak, Zuckerberg is trying to change his status from dishonest whore to honest whore. Let's all wish him luck with that!

Vance has skills.

Vance artfully runs through the administration’s failed policies and implicates and links them to Harris. We know Biden is incapable of running things and if she is not calling the shots, who is. You can almost see Bash’s head explode. 🤯

Between Trump, Vance, RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and I’m sure there are a few surprises, I wish it was the start of the first quarter instead of the fourth quarter. If we can keep the basement dwellers on the field this election can be won. 🏆

Expand full comment

I agree about Vance, I think he's been terrific. At every stop, he allows time specifically for questions from locals, really good. He's articulate and focused, and he hasn't even been VP for the last 3-1/2 years!

Expand full comment

I was baffled by the Republicans who said of Vance, "an absolutely terrible choice for Vice President," ( as one guy actually said ), because I'd seen just enough of him to know how impressive he is. Then, I realized that the people who think that wanted Nikki Haley to be Vice President.

Mike Pence is a good and honorable man, but he brought essentially nothing to his debate with Harris four years ago. As people will recall, maybe the most remarked upon thing about that debate was the fly which was attracted to the top of Pence's head, which it seemed to view as a tarmac.

I look forward to the Vance/Walz debate. I knew Walz was the dope who did nothing while Minneapolis burned, and thought he was a terrible choice for Vice President. ( I'm intrigued by the assertion that Obama sold Harris on Walz because he wants Harris to lose. The reason for this isn't hard to imagine. He's the father of two adult daughters. A rising tide may lift all boats, but the Titanic takes most of its manifest with it. )

If I am not mistaken, it was Walz who was the first to sling the "weird" defamation at Vance. When at his introduction a few days before the Dems' convention, he made an allusion to the disgusting "sofa" lie, I thought, "This guy is scum," and haven't changed my mind.

Not much has been made of it - in fact, pro Trump media seems to have put the kibosh on it in the last several weeks, and if they have, it's so it can be used when it will cause most damage - but unless I misunderstand veterans, and what is likely to enrage them, there is more coming about the stolen valor matter, and it will be very bad for the Harris/Walz ticket.

On her show yesterday, Megyn Kelly told viewers who Walz reminds her of: the hyper excited audience members who were told to "come on down!" on The Price is Right. Really, I think a better comparison would be to Joaquin Phoenix's performance as The Joker.

I find the Harris campaign tactic of reversing her position on just about every issue to be really infuriating and particularly insulting. Anyone who's paid a modicum of attention knows it's all lies, there is no way she has suddenly turned into a conservative. But the media goes along with it because they all know the Biden/Harris agenda has been so unpopular and very destructive.

Agreed - She has no intention of doing any of it. It’s all a lie or so nuance with fine print that it’s essentially never going to happen. The REALLY sad part is there are millions of people that don’t care. I saw an interview with a woman that said she was voting for Harris because she was making all income go LOWER. Expand full comment

Feral, playing Hide The Kamala may "work" in terms of getting her elected, but we all should be very clear that the hide her strategy de-legitimates the process.. a true democracy is built on the public knowing where the candidates stand on the issues, and voting accordingly. A state-run propaganda media pushing a media-created image of a candidate to victory is not a democracy, it is a Soviet-style sham.

Just because there is an election does not mean a society is a "democracy."

Expand full comment

The United States is an oligarchy featuring unlimited political bribery for those who can afford pricey lawyers. Not a democracy or a democratic republic, although the United States retains vestigial trappings of these forms.

Neither Harris, nor anyone else of influence and authority, cares whether the process is delegitimized, as long as her orders are still followed and she can command enough carrot and stick to compel the same.

That is all that matters.

Expand full comment

OK, I go along with your characterization of the US as an "oligarchy," but many people who, perhaps, aren't paying close attention don't know this fact... our job is to remind them of that.

I do disagree with your view that the oligarchy doesn't care if the process is de-legitimized in the eyes of the public... their control is in no small measure dependent upon people believing the system is legit, and if that fails, the oligarchy may face a challenge to its power.

Just remember the primary rule when judging the nation’s socialist left: They always accuse the Pro-freedom side of what they are doing to confuse the public.

So, when they make dictatorship accusations, remember that they want to make the first move of every dictator: CONFISCATING GUNS.

Well, that one is already baked in the cake.

No,

Donald Trump is on the opposite, Pro-freedom tack.

Also remember that our ‘lovable’ Nazis of the left try to sell gun confiscation based on the idea of safety – except that even in places where guns are banned, people are being stabbed.

So, all they need to do is get rid of anything that can be used to make a knife – metal, glass, plastic, hard candy, wood, ceramic, etc. and we’ll all be ‘safe’ .. aside from the threat of the government with guns..
