Well, I don't think my content is lies. You may disagree. Is it possible to disagree in a civil manner?

I think it’s dishonest of you to post, not once but twice, that Trump supporters are in thrall to Trump and see him as God sent. That is not true. It’s selectively choosing to use an example from a certain narrow faction. It is therefore by definition a lie. But you know that, don’t you.

That Trump reposted it is comical, he’s got a good sense of humor and it hauled you in obviously.

I’ve said that in as civil a way as is necessary.

Wow, that was amazingly civil. I'm not sure what you are referring to but sometimes I post something more than once to respond to 2 different commenters. I stated in a response to "Tim Kelly"

"I don't think all trump voters are in a cult but some who believe he can do no wrong are. "

How big of you. I’m not sure where in your life you decided you needed to pass judgment on others with so much certainty. It must be nice to feel oneself on such lofty heights. Not sure you’re aware how condescending it sounds. Hopefully you’re not, and will course correct.

You don't ever pass judgement on anyone? I thought the purpose of the comment pages was to express your opinions which often involves making some generalizations about the other side. I certainly see plenty of commenters "pass judgement on others", sometimes vilifying the entire other side in the process.

Because people do that doesn’t make it right. Why mimic the worst in us. If I pass judgement, which I’m trying to avoid doing, it’s usually on a party affiliation or a confirmed position someone expresses over time.

Your initial assessment was that Trump voters are in a cult, hence the pushback you’re getting.

And now I’m ready to wrap this up. I have no more to add, for me the conversation is over.

All the best.
