Maybe in America this Walz is considered likeable but I was put off immediately.

When he repeated the defamatory story about J.D. Vance in his introductory speech, I knew immediately that he's a lowlife.

How can ANY father allow tampons in a boys bathroom?

Sorry, you are NOT a father.

it's not about that. I didn't know what he did when I saw his face as Harris VP choice and thought Yikes. All the astorturfing across media and social media makes it like they are going to win. And then you see them and aren't so sure. this guy is as far from average all American grandpa as it gets.

We all know Waltz is not running 2028 or 2032 so it doesnt matter.

He does have a creepy vibe. I wouldn't let him "coach" my kid.

That odd mouth of his reminds me of Jabba the Hutt's mouth.

I live next door to Minnesota, and as far as I can tell, Walz is reviled as a little Caesar in his state.

cause you would not want your kid to have the memory of winning a State football championship? or perhaps, you'd prefer someone who crossdresses with a yellow wig?

That’s like me saying I live in North America which is true since I live in Chicago but doesn’t really answer the question.

do specifics matter? it isn't America and I can't vote. Just the election observer.

if it's Russia (or Oklahoma) just admit it, vader.

it's neither

not that there's anything wrong with that. you know, like Vance said about his yellow wig. Kidding. ! just thought you'd like to be tough and own it, like the rappers do with Compton and whatnot. but...a guy from Oklahoma did write that song about 'Yoshimi battles the pink robots, Vol. 1 (& 2)' so it is possible to produce something good from a terrible place. and...Russia did show fine hospitality to my man Ed Snowden. So, there's that...

what's obsession with Oklahoma here if you don't mind asking? I don't think I even remotely sound like I'm from there but I see people thinking I am so I'm curious. Should come to visit.

Is math “White” and therefore “Racist!”? A superb article on Real Clear Politics a few years ago by a Princeton Professor of Mathematics with an excellent introduction by Bari Weiss. And Kamala “Equal Outcomes” Harris is totally committed to “Equity” aka “Equal Outcomes.” Some excerpts below:

“When it comes to education, I believe the woke ideology is even more harmful than old-fashioned communism.”

“Communism had a strong sense of objective reality anchored in the belief that humans are capable of discovering universal truths. It forcefully asserted, in fact, the absolute truth of dialectic materialism, as revealed by its founders Marx, Engels and Lenin. Communist ideology held science and mathematics in the highest regard, even though it often distorted the former for doctrinal reasons.”

“Mathematics was largely immune to ideological pressure, and thus thrived in most communist countries. Being skilled in math was a source of great societal prestige for school children. And it was a great equalizer: those from socioeconomically disadvantaged families had a chance to compete on equal footing with those from privileged ones.”

“There Is No Such Thing as ‘White’ Math.”

I naively believed that STEM would be spared from the ideological takeover. I was wrong, says Princeton professor Sergiu Klainerman.

Krystal is a leftist but I totally agree with her that Israel is self destructing and will most likely soon cease to exist. Leftists are right that the right-wing has destroyed Israel but are blissfully unaware that their left has also destroyed America. Very few democrats have any problem with Tulsi being put on a terrorist watchlist for criticizing Kamala. No society so devoid of trust and so full of hate can survive as a nation. I believe America has already ceased to exist as a country internally which is why it’s so rapidly unraveling externally.

Tucker/Dave An excellent discussion of current events.

Over the years I have read about Walz on Powerline. The Minnesota lawyers there have been warning us about him of years. But I never heard him speak until Kamala trotted him onto the stage, and my first impression was similar to Tucker's. He seemed kind of... well, gross. His blowhard delivery reminded me of Chris Farley's Matt Foley Motivational Speaker character - and in the following days I heard others say the same thing. Which makes me wish Farley was still with us and SNL was still funny. What a sketch Jan Hooks and Chris Farley could have done with that speech.

I like Tucka and Dave enough. I do think their criticisms of Trump are fine, but naïve in many ways; they have never been in the breech of actual affairs. They are critical of Trump in many foreign policy examples without fully understanding our - the Deep State - roles in almost all of them; Trump understands that the People on the ground of every country are not that different from our own and works the balance between that and their dictatorial governments, including our own. It can be very complicated and Trump cuts through the nonsense that our State Department(overt) and the CIA(covert) foment. Funny how the New York Slimes just noted the Biden family's game with Burisma after denying it for the last five years...

RFK Jr.: I like him in many ways, but he drove his ex to suicide after demanding that a judge commit her; the Kennedy's are cursed. Maureen Callahan just released a book on the women of the Kennedy clan "Ask Not" and was on Sebastian Gorka's show yesterday. Check out his podcast with her. I have studied the evil Kennedy clan for years and was astounded at what I didn't know.

Hey Sasha, David makes a great point to Tucker that could apply to you as well. He says to Tucker - cheesh, you, Greenwald, Berenson were all on the inside but you left it to be free!!! You’re in good company, Ms Stone.
