I get emails from the New York Times trying to get me to subscribe and they always have the title and an excerpt from the article. Last week I got one titled “When to get the latest Covid shot and how long it lasts.” Aug 31, 2024. The excerpt said “Newly approved Covid-19 vaccines will be coming to pharmacies and doctors’ offices soon, and health officials recommend them for everyone over 6 months old.” It’s truly horrible that they’d be recommending this for babies and the damage is greatly compounded by the fact that the NYT sets the standard for factual reporting which is picked and reported by the msm all over the country and considered fact based information by democrats all over the country.

Bret Weinstein has a PhD in biology and understands things like viruses and vaccines quite well. At the 6 min point in this interview with PBD he says of the mRNA Covid vaccine that it turns down immunity. If it does that in adults what would it do to a developing immune system in a baby? This is an excellent video though with a lot of information that should be shared with others. Democrats say Bret Weinstein is a far right fascist who spreads misinformation but he’s obviously highly intelligent and credible, far more so than anyone on their side which is the Woke side.

Anyone vaxxing a child with the Covid shot is doing that child a huge disservice. The data not to do it is overwhelming. This is like lemmings jumping off the cliff to their death.

They really are quite insane.

Bret Weinstein was and maybe still is a card carrying democrat who woke up because of Covid. Far right is the most ridiculous way you could describe him. He and his wife helped keep me sane during our lockdowns with their podcast. They helped me see I wasn’t crazy or alone.

They helped many people. I’ve lived all my life in Chicago so I’ve always known the democrats can’t be trusted and despise white people and are now flat out insane.

Heard that tragic Elvis song about Chicago today and thought of you amigo; “In the ghetto”.

Expand full comment

Never liked that song. Blacks are not victims of oppression. They ruin their schools and their neighborhoods and then complain that they’re oppressed because their schools are awful and their neighborhoods deadly. They say “Black Lives Matter!” and then treat each other like garbage. They are by far their own worst enemies although the white leftists always encourage them to believe they are brutally oppressed by the evil white man so that certainly does help to keep them down.

The quote is from Bret Weinstein. And although I’ve never liked or trusted democrats I never imagined that they could ever become as wildly insane as they now are. Their whole 4 day DNC in Chicago was a hate Trump/MAGA festival of joyfully hating their enemies. These people are insane and if your peanut size brain was capable of processing information you’d be aware of this obvious fact.

And the democrats have hated Bret for going on Fox News and telling Tucker all about it. That’s what got him excommunicated from the left. That’s when they started labeling him as very far-right. They will never forgive him that.

I listened to this whole podcast and at the end, I still did not hear an argument for why Churchill was wrong to oppose the Nazis after the fall of France. I don’t care what this says about Cooper. The man should write a book as a cure for his endless rambling. More importantly—I don’t like what this interview says about Tucker, who seems not to have a fastball anymore. Cooper should have been forced to defend his opinions, and that was Tucker’s job.

I am not a fan of Cooper's. Stopped reading him on Twitter. But I didn't want to censor this particular one.

As a fan of Tucker and a fan of history, I simply wanted them to articulate this counter-narrative about Churchill, which they failed to do. I mean, I really love Tucker, but for Christ sakes, where is his fastball? He s a naturally kind man but that is no qualification for an interviewer. Mr. Cooper has a reputation for being a smart man, but he wanders, and I have 0 interest in a man's opinions (especially controversial ones) that he does not trouble himself to write down. That's what books are for—to defend and consolidate opinion.

I think what makes Tucker stand out is that he’s a good interviewer and pundit. He admits himself that history is not his strong point. I had the same impression when I watched his interview with Putin. I would have asked a million questions. Tucker just allowed him to say his piece.

Expand full comment

I agree with you. What annoys me are Cooper's controversial opinions presumably derived from superhuman research, but the assertion that enormous research legitimizes opinion is a fallacy. Also involved is judgment. The presuming enormity of his assertion about Churchill is mind-boggling, and that's what really gets me. Forget all the little errors he cites that Churchill committed, just take the plain fact of his assertion at face value: he is saying that Europe would have been better off in perpetuity if Britain had not opposed the Nazis. Believe me, he could only get away with a statement like this if his fan boys were not millennials who'd never cracked a history book. Really, Mr. Cooper, be a man, and write a book, and let's see where your ideas actually fall.

The last "popular historian" I read was Barbara Tuchman, back in the mid-to-late 70s. Since then, history and historiography, like most things, have sailed off of a cliff. For a thinking person's take on current goings-on, Victor Hanson's 'Blade of Perseus' web site is quite good.

I listened to about 45 minutes of the Darryl Cooper sit-down with Tucker. Not great... not terrible. Seems to have a decent methodology regarding how he goes about his research work.

I assumed this was still the mRNA vaccine and it is. I don’t remember it ever being recommended for babies though. Truly awful. Our ruling class is evil.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone ages 6 months and older get one of the updated vaccines. Pfizer’s and Moderna’s updated mRNA vaccines are fully approved for everyone ages 12 and older, and each has a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) emergency use authorization (EUA) for infants and children ages 6 months through 11 years.”

I was curious about this new Covid vaccine so I did a search and found this.

“The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved the new Covid vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.”

“That means we’ll be getting a yearly updated Covid vaccine to protect against mutations and waning immunity, just like annual flu shots.”

“As of May 11, only 22.5% of adults got last year’s updated Covid vaccine, according to data from the CDC. Only 14.4% of children ages 6 months through 17 years got vaccinated.”

“For this fall, the CDC recommended that all Americans ages 6 months and older get the new shots.”

“But Dr. Isaac Bogoch, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Toronto, said it’s challenging to make a one-size-fits-all recommendation on who should get the vaccine, especially for healthy, young adults.”

“FDA approves the new Covid vaccine. Here’s the best time to get it.”

I wouldn’t describe this guy as any kind of authority on the subjects he’s propounded upon.

He’s a guy who’s read a lot, an awful lot, about a lot of subjects and has come to draw his own conclusions based upon what’s he’s gleaned and his interpretations from those sources of information. Don’t we all do that in our own way?

He brings a lot of information, some anecdotal, some obscure, some historical and attempts to paint some kind of subjective picture to connect it all, rightly or wrongly. We individually can listen but then must draw our own conclusions, some of which may end up being vastly different than where he may land.

He is certainly an interesting guy, but Tucker’s amplification of him into something greater than that, (it seems mostly based upon his agreement with his viewpoints), comes off as a bit over the top to me.

It was a choppy interview, kind of difficult to stay with, as he seemed to veer off from subject to subject in a somewhat disconnected manner, without ever directly coming to the point, partly due to Tucker’s interruption of his topic at hand.

Not Tucker’s finest moment in my book.
