I didn't think they would sic the FBI on parents for objecting at school board meetings or imprison abortion protesters. I didn't think non violent Jan 6 protesters would get draconian sentences. I'm sorry but this is a revolutionary movement that I very much disagree with. I think you'll see a permanent party state very similar to the Mexican PRI that ran Mexico for 7 decades. Notwithstanding, a more reliable metric is that produced by DOJ's department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics National Crime Victimization Survey, which tells a more accurate picture that most of us, and hopefully many Americans are aware of. According to that survey, in 2021 violent crime rose by 13.6% and in 2022 it rose by an astounding 29.3%.
While the FBI claims that serious violent crime has fallen by 5.8% since Biden took office, the NCVS numbers show that total violent crime has risen by 55.4%. Rapes are up by 42%, robbery by 63%, and aggravated assault by 55% during Biden’s term. Since the NCVS started, the largest previous increase over three years was 27% in 2006, so the increase under Biden was slightly more than twice as large!
Of note, recall that during the Trump/Harris debate, Trump was allegedly fact checked, despite there was to be no fact checking, regarding Trump's claims that crime is up. After being interrupted by Muir with the false fact checking, Trump rightfully claimed that the FBI's crime stats were false.
Similar lies from the current corrupt and feckless admin and MSM regarding the economy, and jobs, i.e., Labor Dept. statistics, over reporting of 818,000 jobs added that were never added; and failing to highlight that many of the jobs gained were COVID bounce back jobs, government jobs, and jobs to foreign born workers!!

One of the problem with the long form interview is that the interviewer and guest must continue to keep talking after they disagree which forces the interviewer to be more conciliatory than is ideal if the ideal is to seek the truth.
