While you are writing about this, Sasha, Trump has put Michael Cohen in jail to shut him up so he cannot write a book about what he knows. It's a start of far worse tactics that will silence anyone who criticizes him and his cohorts. And if you think that's OK, you have been blinded by the propaganda of the Right. Already people are being pulled into cars in Portland and held without any charges to shut them up. Trump's lies about the pandemic have cost lives and why aren't you condemning them? Is it so critical to talk about how wrong the pendulum swing has been so that Blacks first the first time in a long time can express their frustration with the subtle white privilege they have encountered all their lives? I have only heard criticism from you, more and more criticism, and never any solutions.

For instance, this write-up delineates between the positive and effective cancel culture which PoC have harnessed, and the ways that cancel culture has been appropriated by bad actors and others. Moreover, it serves as a warning that if bad actors continue with no pushback, Trump will get four more years to do all the things you are rightfully concerned about. Trump's complete mishandling of COVID-19 might have doomed him, but in 2022 or 2024, the harmful variants of cancel culture may ensure more Trump proteges gain office, to include another Trump attaining the WH in 2024. Certain conservatives were counting on this in 2020 and will shift their sights to 2022 if Trump doesn't recover before the election.
