Friend, I'm sorry someone felt compelled to choose negativity. You go above and beyond to make sure we all know how to opt out of the Tucker links. You are hands-down one of the most conscientious folks on Substack. Thank you for all you do - the research, the insightful and profound thinking, the gorgeous writing, the excellent video and music clips. I'm grateful and I want you to know you are appreciated.
Sorry about this,Sasha. Intentional communities are beautiful things, but the intolerant zeitgeist will trickle in. I admire your open-mindedness, and wish to emulate it. Thank you for your Substack.
I can think of many adjectives that could be used to describe Tucker. Antisemite is not one that springs to mind.
He challenges elite opinion, tracks down a story when the facts don't add up, has a curious mind, asks open-ended questions, then lets his guests speak without constant interruption. All this is what real journalists used to do, before the hive mind took over. Not everyone appreciates that approach. Those who do will stay with you; those who don't will leave. That's fine.
Sasha, sorry you have to deal with this--over and over again. Not sure why folks can't find the DELETE key. So much easier and doesn't take much energy.
But, you've gone way out of your way to not offend. Now, it's getting ever so slightly annoying to hear you be defensive about it.
Just a suggestion from someone who's not writing this excellent blog: Time to let the chips fall where they may. If someone can't handle an opinion that differs from their own, do you really want them as a subscriber?
By the way: I like the Tucker updates. I don't normally frequent X and wouldn't know about his interviews most of the time but for your updates. So, there is another side to the intolerant few who unsubscribe in the face of the mildest unpleasantries.
I love how open and transparent you are with your Substack and that you are unafraid to defend your position. Your continued courage in the face of scrutiny and criticism is admirable!
I read you via the substack app & it’s even more difficult to make any changes there. I like your honesty, I like Tucker’s interviews & am a paid subscriber in order to support him. I appreciate your interviews & pov & want to upgrade to pay. No way to do it from the app. that I can find, but I’ll figure it out as I’ve done before 🙂. I want o help the fighters fight.
Providing detailed instructions on how to not receive posts on Substack that people are subscribed to is a demonstration of your courtesy, kindness and patience with people, Sasha. I don't know if I could say the same for myself, but I don't publish. So.
As the saying goes, "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room." I would offer a couple of corollaries: If you agree with everything a Substack says, you will learn nothing from it. If you disagree with everything on a Substack, you've subscribed only to post hateful comments. I don't agree with everything I read on ANY of my many subscriptions, but I am so much better informed and prompted to THINK. I don't watch every Tucker drop, but sometimes they are really informative and/or terrifying. I have great appreciation for you taking the time to post them, especially since you post whether paid or not. That's why you are in my top 5. Thank you.
Oh my, someone had a meltdown?
I'm reminded of the Lion King quote: "I'm surrounded by idiots!"
Sasha, I appreciate you.
Adults can glean information from those with whom they don't agree 100%. Don't stop sharing what might make some of us uncomfortable.
Tucker and the others are disruptors of the narrative. I approve even if I disagree with the specific item.
Tucker and Greenwald two of the best. Keep posting them Sasha

I get not wanting to offend anyone.

“You can’t please all the people all the time” - no doubt!!
Thanks for all you do, Sasha🤗

In this environment, you are definitely one of the bravest dames I know. Inspiring 😊
Keep up the awesome work, Sasha.
