Happy Halloween! What a frightful tale. Harris, Obviously is my favorite lawn sign - this is what goes through the good lib NPC's mind:

I am obviously brainwashed beyond comprehension. This election is such an obvious choice. I know because The New York Times and CNN endorsed Kamala since she was obviously a great VP and Trump is obviously, literally Hitler. They are obviously real, unbiased journalists and not conspiracy theorists spreading misinformation. I vote blue no matter who because Democrats are always obviously better. Anyone who doesn’t consoom MSM like me is obviously oblivious, so I don’t talk to them. Why can’t you see how obvious this all is, bigot? Obviously I am intellectually and morally superior to you, but this is my passive aggressive way of saying it. It’s obvious birth control, SSRIs, and seed oils are driving me insane. I will keep repeating NPC slogans because they’re so OBVIOUS! OBVIOUS! OBVIOUS!

Just LOVE you, Sasha!

Note: "Janet" is really Karen. Right?

ha ha. where's the whole book, I'll buy! a 'Peyton Place' for our woke times!

so chilling, that self-righteous poster (was it 'Jo'?) who wants to shout down all questions about the 'let's just keep calling them Nazis/Hitler' as Kamala's final campaign closing strategy. It is in fact, underscoring them at their obliviously hypocritical/stuck-up self-righteous worst. THIS is the reason she is ikely to lose, and sadly, they still won't know... only doesn't Jo miss out one virtue signal? that is, if Trump really WAS Hitler, and all the blue team state media just could not locate his secret gas-chambers and lamp shade projects (in an Elon compound, no doubt)...then isn't she victim-shaming his followers? you know, like Joe did with the garbage comment, only worse? or maybe like the blue woman yelling at the baby, Jo also yells at 90-something REAL holocaust survivors too? (since it's the same thing...).

I thought about writing a series of stories...

...I was thinking by the end of this short story, "When will Sasha publish her first novel?"

Great! it would be like 'Shame of the Cities'! you could bounce from one suburb to another, and have similar chapter titles such as "Where you're proud to Wear Yoga Pants while flipping off republicans." or..."Where Gluten is much worse than hating a republican." but don't forget 'Tall Tree'!

I love it! Maybe a serial??

I want to say something nice about a couple of people. First, I've not been a fan of Jon Stewart 2.0 (after he was apparently raped by Keith Olberman and grew a beard). BUT...he just stood up for Tony Hinchcllffe, who was making a JOKE (everyone knows islands don't float, etc.). and the other part, geez, you'd think the green new dealers would be happy to expose the need to clean the plastics out of the ocean, and so forth. makes one wonder. would it have been okay if he said 'Bali'? I mean, fish get trapped in it, that's bad, right? It's not even a racist joke. It's either funny or not funny.

The other defender, naturally was Joe Rogan, for similar reasons. e.g., it's a joke.

Similarly, we need someone to stand up for Ryan Girdusky, who made a joke about beepers he hopes did not go off, and was banned immediately from the Abbie Phillips show for fears that those few words emotionally scarred some hateful Palestinian first guy. The joke was in context wasn't it? again, it was a joke, and it's the same side everytime that is doing the banning and cancelling. Makes one wonder. What if Don Rickles was still alive and doing his act. Would they really mock personal attack : " and this so-called comedian calling a human being of color a hockey puck, how could he??!!'

I have often thought these past several years, by the grace of God, Rickles is no longer with us. Never liked his act, but he must be turning over in his grave, watching HUMOR take its last, dying breath.

Please do. We will need some mental stimulation for the slow return to normalcy after Tuesday.

Did ya’ll see Trump’s Halloween costume he donned today in Wisky? He even rode to his rally in a garbage truck!

Sasha, great read, thanks for the spooks!

I’m a long-suffering Mariner’s fan ;) The highlight of which was a game 5 ALDS win vs. your Yanks and the fearsome Blackjack McDowell way back in ‘95 😂 I have no horse in this one but enjoying very much the back and forth

Great writing, imagination and a compelling read. I couldn't stop myself...thanks for such a brilliant diversion from all the madness of text messages and hideous, lying commercials and constant political yakking....I voted a straight Republican ticket long ago and the board of elections received it...so I am ready to move on the MAGAville life!!!! If only......

Sasha, I loved it. I howled with laughter at the asinine virtue signalling. Totally believable scolding liberals, who believe they are so open-minded and tolerant. Ugh. They are small-minded hall monitors.

Such a sad and moving story. A real look into the mind of a hopelessly unhappy person.

A cautionary tale!!!

Vista Butte sounds like Davis CA. I know, I lived there for a while. Lots of Janets in Davis. All very concerned for the well being of others I might add.

"They'd be lucky if their house was not burned down.

Janet has heard that some Trump supporters are in town, although no one knows who they are."

Great story. We have to keep our heads down or be ripe for the federal taking. Glad we stood a post while others slept. For years. (we gladly stood that post for you that understood.)
